As a 4 year old in the 70s, my mum would travel to Victoria for work and to drop me off at school. Looking out of the train window as we passed the power station I remember seeing a mysterious flying pig. Over a decade later I would be “transported” by their music #PinkFloyd
Friend and fellow mudlark, Malcolm Russel, aka the @mudhistorian, has recently published MUDLARK’D, a fascinating insight into the history of the artefacts that can be found on the Thames foreshore. A must read if you love history and archaeology! 🪔🏺🗝
@thamesclippers@BatterseaPwrStn Great news! I use the service occasionally but being a mudlark, I have really missed those waves crashing on to and cleaning the foreshore at low tide!
Recently found on the Thames foreshore whilst #mudlarking. Artwork signed with a hand print, likely depicting an NHS hero. Another was found today unsigned. Would love to understand why these are washing up on the Banks of the Thames #mudmarkldn
@ThreeUKSupport@ThreeUK can someone PLEASE let me know what on earth is going on with your service?! Coming up for two weeks now with a less than satisfactory connection. Fix it or I’m outage!
