Footballer sentenced to execution by hanging by Iran’s regime for taking part in protest.
On January 8th, Amir Hossein Ghaderzadeh, 19, who plays for football club Serapahn SC was shot with pellet guns by Iranian police.
Despite being injured, his family persuaded him not to seek hospital treatment amid reports Iranian security forces were going to hospitals and shooting protesters dead in their beds.
Days later, police turned up at his home and forced him to strip to see if he had any pellet wounds.
After they found bruises accross his body, they detained him and took him to a detention facility.
He was then sentenced to death, and found guilty of “betraying his country.”
He was not allowed access to a lawyer and banned from speaking in court or giving testimony.
A relative of Amir revealed he joined the protest because he had a feeling of hopelessness.
“No matter how much effort he puts in, no matter how well he plays, he will never make it to the national team. It’s all about who you know, and unless you have incredible connections, you don’t really have a future.”

In Iran, the ugliest, most deformed and evil creatures are mass murdering youth, beauty, talent and intelligence.
Only shia islamic barbarians will remain if this regime isn't ended.

I’ve received some truly heartbreaking news, please read.
Mike, who has helped me build Andy’s Bet Club over the past few years, was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the start of this year. He’s been through six months of chemotherapy, but before even finishing his treatment, the cancer became so aggressive that nothing further can be offered here other than palliative care.
There is now one final treatment option available to him, but it involves major surgery and it isn’t covered by the NHS, meaning it has to be funded privately.
This is someone I’ve worked closely with for years, and I honestly can’t put into words how gutted I am for him, his family and his daughters.
The amount needed is huge, but I’m hoping that as a community we can come together and help Mike in any way we can.
I’ll leave the fundraiser link in the replies. Thank you so much to anyone who’s able to donate or share this post.
If you’re feeling a bit dissociated today after the news, you’re not alone. Really struggling to wrap my head around it. Everything seems a bit numb. Beyond tragic.
Sending every bit of love and strength I have to Diogo’s family, I can’t even imagine their pain 💔
