There's so much to unpack from this AG interview.

We build these enormous moments for these apps and platforms and payment is reliant on people DONATING..?!

When you say that out loud it's pretty wild. TikTok did $9.1 BILLION in revenue last year. Yet people like AG streaming household names doing street performances relies on viewers sending a tip still.

£1300 cost for him to perform with these high level artists outside. That's an insane amount of money / risk involved when you can't rely on steady statistics backed income.

He's revered by the press and the government. Does nothing but good work for people. Performs in care homes. The guy deserves all the success in the world.

Surely these platforms have to do better for people like him?

Well said @Humphrey_Pato 👏👏

[V.R @Humphrey_Pato]

Based on the agreement between the Chelsea hierarchy and Xabi Alonso, he was given time to build his team and implement his philosophy. The time he was given is three years.

Chelsea believe that in the next three years, Chelsea will be a competitive team, a winning team, a team that will be competing for the No. 1 spot in the Premier League or winning the Champions League. That is the agreement and that is the project.

We are just two months into Xabi Alonso’s time at Chelsea, and some Chelsea fans are already calling him out for not being good enough. Xabi Alonso has barely had his first full month in the Premier League, and you already expect him to turn Chelsea into an invincible team.

Why?

You have to understand that this is a process. Xabi Alonso was not brought here to magically fix everything within two months. He was brought here to build a team, implement his philosophy and put Chelsea on the right track.

So far, Xabi Alonso has brought a lot of light into this Chelsea squad. We have seen our attackers doing wonders. We have seen this team score so many goals despite having a bad defence and not even having a proper midfield available.

Even Moisés Caicedo, our one man in midfield who gives us that sense of security, has not been available in our last three games. Throughout this season, whenever he has come back, he has suffered another setback. We have basically been playing without a proper midfield, yet Xabi Alonso has still been putting in good results.

I just don’t understand why every Chelsea fan expects Xabi Alonso to go invincible.

Look at Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen. He was given time. In his first season, did he go invincible? No. Did he win the Bundesliga? No. He delivered in his second season, when Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga unbeaten.

Look at Jürgen Klopp. Before he won his first trophy for Liverpool, it took him three years and seven months. His first major trophy with Liverpool was the Champions League.

Look at Pep Guardiola. Did he win the Premier League in his first two seasons at Manchester City? No, he didn’t.

Look at Mikel Arteta. He has stayed at Arsenal for six-plus years. They continued putting their faith in him and believing in his philosophy. Years back, he kept saying, “Trust the process.” The fans trusted the process and stuck with him.

So why is it different for Chelsea?

If you look at this Chelsea team without a midfielder, without a proper defence, and you expect us to win games week in, week out, then I’m sorry, you are mistaken.

Xabi Alonso has shown us his blueprint. Now the players need to believe in it, work towards it, train it and understand his philosophy. That doesn’t happen overnight. It takes months, and sometimes it takes a year or two.

So if you decide to blame Xabi Alonso, drag him or start saying he is not good enough after just two months, then maybe you need to change club.

Maybe go to Barcelona. They are winning games week in, week out.

Go to a winning team if you’re not ready to build with us.

Or you can as well join Enzo Fernández at Manchester City.
