A stock H2SX is 266kg kerb.
Take off petrol (19 litres = 14kg).
Take off fuel tank (guess 5kg?)
Now add 2 x 25-litre H2 tanks (assume 22.6kg each, based on Toyota G2-3 tank specs).
Now add 2kg hydrogen.
Call it 294kg, ballpark?

Each of the twin tail-mounted tanks is apparently 25 litres in volume. Assuming they hold hydrogen compressed to 700 bar, that's 2kg in total. (cont👇)

@philntash I understand / believe that high combustion temperatures create NOx, so yes. How much that *could* be mitigated by more efficient combustion and/or catalytic converter is 🤷♂️.
But, yes, putting H2 into a fuel cell would be both much more efficient and much less brum-my.
@Parax Don't think they're steel tanks - guess they're some kind of composite / carbon-fibre / plastic mix. That's what Toyota use on the Mirai.
Yes, H2 is 99% fossil, which is an issue, and yes, combustion means NOx & carbon emissions (from burning oil); exhaust appears to have a cat!
@BenJacksonTP Hydrogen has long felt like the "fuel of the future". I rode a hydrogen-powered Suzuki back in 2010 and it was "the future" then.
"And until we figure the future out, let's not do anything hasty..." etc.
