A little behind the times but I'll be leaving this platform until I've worked out what to do about the scary new (?) world in which we find ourselves. You can find me on Bluesky here https://t.co/0KZDcvaZpJ
This #WomensMonth, @muflynn reminds us that nourishing equality must start with addressing malnutrition from the earliest points in girls’ and women’s lives. Because a better - and more equally - nourished world is a stronger one.

Let's get real this #internationalwomensday!
At current pace, #genderequality won’t be reached globally until at least 2108. Why? 🤔
Find out from @alieholder as she explores the devastating impact of #austerity, & what we can do this #IWD to counter it

Last #IWD, I was an angry feminist, furious with the lack of progress on gender equality. This year is pretty much the same, except I'm also enraged about shocking rates of women’s #malnutrition. So I wrote this blog, sharing some of what I've learnt from a year at @SF4Nutrition
New data from @UNICEF shows > 1 billion adolescent girls & women globally suffer from undernutrition.
On #InternationalWomensDay, let's prioritize women's nutrition to build a stronger, more equal world.

Watching the #BanConversionTherapy protest in London from afar today with pride and hoping it pushes this petition over the 100,000 signatures it needs for the issue to debated in parliament. Go on, give it a sign ✒️ https://t.co/DSZt7uQFYT
"I share many commonalities and experiences with other women, in that I am oft told to “smile” by random men... But ultimately, I’d like to think that if I lose my reproductive organs due to some medical tragedy or choose not to procreate, I will still be a woman."

Yesterday the world lost one of the most remarkable voices in the feminist movement. bell hooks was a pioneer, exposing the deep intersections between gender, race, class and sexuality.
Her principles ground our work and we hope we will one day see the justice she sought.

Here's a little something I wrote to mark the #Reykjavík21 Global Forum this week. It's a reminder of the importance of #gender#data to enabling women's representation and leadership (as well as potentially unnecessary but otherwise enjoyable references to Tina Turner lyrics).
🚨 New blog 🚨
As the #Reykjavík21 Global Forum kicks off this week, @Muflynn takes time to reflect on how data can help achieve gender equality and support women’s leadership.

Loving that #CiswiththeT is trending today in response to the transphobic moral panic that many UK media outlets have succumbed too. These narratives are the very same type of vilification used to persecute the LGB community historically - let's not let that repeat itself
It is right to only have sex with people you’re attracted to. It’s important to talk about it if you have been assaulted by someone. It is not fine to chalk that assault up to someone’s race/religious background/gender/sexuality and then use it against all others similar to them.
Brilliant to have @ChantaleWalker from @GAC_Corporate give opening remarks at our @Equal2030 event today on data-driven advocacy for girls’ #education in emergencies in #Africa & hear her mention their #feminist approach to international assistance & our programme together 👏🏻
