Our journey with our sins is similar as well. Some days you will have your desires under control and will be riding the spiritual high, while during others the devil will be dancing in your thoughts. Regardless of how we feel, our actions must align with the commands of the Almighty.

Trust me when I say this: The greatest good deed you can do, even greater than standing for hours in Salah, is staying away from wrong.

Connect yourself to the source of all powers. That is the only way to abstain. For there is no might to abstain from evil, nor the power to do good, except the one that comes from Allah, the exalted.

In a first for any darul iftaa in the world (as far as I know), the Darul Iftaa Chicago graduates (muftis) returned last weekend to retake their required 5-year exams to retain their certification, Alhamdulillah.

All graduates must retake exams 1, 5, & 10 years after graduation.
