@KGeee Love it even more when not only do they not share their prices online, they require you to come for an in-person tour before they'll share rates 🫠
@sarafnovak My anniversary is also in July and someday I'd love to go back to Bermuda, where we went on our honeymoon. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous and the weather at that time of year is ideal — hot, but not suffocating.
Wow the toddler food/parenting expert who wrote the rule “We decide what you eat, you decide how much you want to eat” is going to be so fucking shocked when she meets a kid.
@morninggloria Seeing some replies like “actually my kids ate everything we ate” and I think they might actually be worse than the naive people with no kids. Because if you’re a parent and can’t recognize that some kids aren’t as flexible as yours, well, you are terrible
My only 2023 resolution is to listen to Spotify Premium enough on my own that my Discover playlist stops serving me songs like "Theme from Puffin Rock"
Even with inflation squeezing household budgets, nearly a third of moms of young kids would choose remote work over $10,000 in pay, according to a new survey https://t.co/2V4sMhW8l7
@svershbow Hear me out: Lululemon leggings (specifically the Align) are worth the extra $. They are durable and last a long time. I bought two pairs while pregnant in 2019 and still wear both today. I think they start at around $100 so the per year cost is not bad
I oversee a user community that doesn’t come close to matching Twitter’s size or influence, but we still have moderators working 24/7. Without them, the community would be so full of hate speech, misinformation, and general garbage that the platform would be unusable.
@amalt 💔 Can totally relate to that guilt—every time my kid is sick, it's Daniel Tiger on loop. I remind myself that when I got mono at age 7 and missed a month of school, all I did was watch The Price Is Right and soap operas with my grandma, and I turned out OK.
