@mobbychan@ihrtdazai you get it. between this and your qrt, no truer words have been spoken.
it’s such a shame being someone who values genuine human interaction in a world where human interaction has become almost completely transactional.
people think it’s cool to ignore people and it’s so sad.
@mobbychan@ihrtdazai deadass… to me it’s so crazy how basic human decency has come down to owing people shit and having to earn a reply. like damn if i’m tryna talk to you why can’t you just talk to me? or tell me you don’t want to? such a simple practice, yet so lost
@SHORTlRICAN@t1nyb0dy no yeah i get that, and if that’s a boundary her boyfriend set then honestly i would consider that outright cheating—she’s still cheating his trust.
and honestly my comment wasn’t really aimed at your friend or even you i’ve just seen this “microcheating” thing everywhere like🤦♂️
@cyrilIic@SHORTlRICAN - i do agree with your second point tho its more of a boundary issue and communicating them. some people consider some things cheating while others don’t
@cyrilIic@SHORTlRICAN i figured someone would say this (i too found it a little extreme), but i truly found no other way to put into words what i thought. i just meant it in the sense that cheating is something that either is or isn’t. no in between. and something that can’t be taken back either.
@rauchenistodlic@t1nyb0dy@SHORTlRICAN i understand that, i mentioned in another reply that i think those are just things that — since they’re not societally considered cheating — should just be discussed and dealt with case by case. i’ve had situations where things like that truly don’t bother either person 🤷♂️
@t1nyb0dy@SHORTlRICAN yeah okay i mean that makes more sense. imo, a situation like that is just a nothingburger unless discomfort is expressed by either person. and in such a case if there is nothing done about it after being discussed then it kinda just wraps around to my last point
@t1nyb0dy@SHORTlRICAN i mean i believe i understand what is implied by the term. like let’s say microcheating is secretly texting someone you’re not supposed to be texting. why is that not outright cheating? it’s straight up a violation of your partners trust regardless, nothing micro about it
