Once had an old fraternity brother do his version of Laffer curve while auditioning for social chairman- X axis was beer consumption , Y axis was ability to pick up the ladies. Comedic genius
A new nasal spray reversed signs of brain aging and restored memory performance in preclinical trials, and it worked in just weeks.
Scientists at Texas A&M University have unveiled an experimental nasal spray that appears to reverse key markers of brain aging. The therapy targets neuroinflammaging, the chronic, low-level inflammation deep in the brainās memory center that slowly degrades cognitive function and increases the risk for conditions like Alzheimerās disease. By delivering microscopic biological packages known as extracellular vesicles directly into the nasal passages, the treatment bypasses the blood-brain barrier without requiring surgical or invasive procedures .
In preclinical trials, just two doses spaced two weeks apart produced results within weeks, calming hyperactive immune cells, restoring neuronal cellular energy, and boosting memory performance for several months. While human clinical trials are still needed to confirm these findings in patients, the observations indicate that age-related mental decline may not be an irreversible fate. Researchers hope this accessible approach could one day offer a simple, non-invasive alternative to complex neurological treatments and prolonged medications.

Alzheimerās may be linked to gum bacteria.
Scientists have repeatedly found Porphyromonas gingivalis, the chief bacterium that causes periodontitis, inside the brains of people who died with Alzheimerās.
When researchers deliberately infected mice with this oral bacterium, the animals rapidly developed key Alzheimerās pathology, including the buildup of amyloid-beta plaques.
Perhaps most alarming, the bacteriaās toxic enzymes have been detected in the brains of people showing early Alzheimerās changes years before memory loss or other symptoms appear, suggesting the infection may quietly initiate damage long in advance.
These discoveries have sparked serious interest in new treatment approaches. An experimental drug called COR388 (from the company Cortexyme) has already succeeded in lowering both bacterial load and amyloid-beta levels in preclinical models. Although large human trials are still needed, the evidence is mounting that at least some cases of Alzheimerās may have an infectious trigger rather than being purely degenerative.

Most people think luck "happens to you," but the truth is that luck is something you pursue...
To pursue it...you keep moving forward, and opening doors as you go...and those doors allow you to see new doors.
Pursue Luck. You do (eventually) find it.
@leevalueroach We had a hostage situation recently in our town at a Mexican restaurant we frequent. We drove by it as it was happening, and my daughter asked me what I would do in that situationā¦I told her I would lecture the hostage takers on carry and trade ā¦
