In Year 1, for our next English topic we will be writing a report about a new planet they discovered. So we went outside in a spaceship and discovered a new plant. We then got out of our spaceship and began exploring our new planet. @winston_way

Year 1 had a work exhibition to showcase and celebrate all their wonderful work they did this week. They made positive comments about their peers work and really enjoyed it. @winston_way

In WWA there is a new music project called
🎼Composer of the month 🎼
For the whole month children are learning about one composer and listen to their music.
February was dedicated for Johann Sebastian Bach.
In March we will be learning about Claude Debussy.

CLAUDE DEBUSSY

French pianist and incredible 20th century composer. He started a new musical style called Impressionism.
Debussy, inspired by Impressionism art, took an idea and applied it to music, creating Impressionism in music.

A friendly reminder: On Thursday 3rd March it’s world book day! The children can come into school in non-uniform! The children can dress up as their favourite character from a book and bring in £1

This week 2CD started their computing unit using @purpleMash to create pictures. On Tuesday they created artwork in the style of Impressionism.
