Almost similar in entire pashtoon belt of Balochistan. In pashtoon culture you cant ask abt wellbeing of wife, sister even mother to strangers or acquantances unless u r a very close friend just like family. A friend was childless and i happen to call him and ask him abt his whereabouts. He goes like "m taking kids to my inlaws". Out of a pleasant surprise, i asked, " Alhamdulillah, you are a father now?". And he goes "no silly i am talking abt my wife". Hes got two kids now Alhamdulillah.

The ongoing Afghan operation should mark a decisive turning point in Pakistan’s decades-long Afghan policy. It is imperative that this policy be thoroughly reviewed and reformed, as past outcomes clearly demonstrate serious shortcomings. The operation must continue until the TTA is fully neutralised, a step that would inevitably weaken the TTP. Domestically, the flawed distinction between “good” and “bad” Taliban must be abandoned once and for all. A clear, consistent, and zero-tolerance approach towards the TTP is essential. Their facilitators and financiers must be identified, exposed, and dealt with decisively under the law. At the same time, a sustainable solution requires more than security measures alone. Southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, long subjected to neglect, must be brought on par with more developed regions. Strengthening law and order should go hand in hand with launching meaningful development initiatives. Infrastructure projects, investment in education and healthcare, and the creation of ample employment opportunities are critical to addressing the root causes of instability. The Newly Merged Districts (NMD) demand special and sustained attention. Funds allocated for these areas must be utilised transparently and judiciously to ensure real progress. Continued neglect is no longer an option; lasting peace and stability depend on inclusive development, effective governance, and an uncompromising stance against militancy.

This pic reminds me of my childhood when our grandma would make these roasted chickpeas called ‘tararra’ (تراڑہ) in our Marwat dialect. We would take roasted chickpeas out of the pods & eat them. It has been ages since I have last eaten them.
