On behalf of the #10kLaptopsProject, I want to sincerely and publicly apologize to you, Doctor Ogunlana (@olawalesmd).

We are all professionals who deeply respect one another. You and my dear friend Dr Ayilola (@silverpenydr) share a long-standing relationship, and the beautiful initiative that the #10kLaptopsProject represents, an initiative you both care about and that exists to help those in need should never become the reason for any rift between two remarkable individuals.

You have been a steadfast supporter and advocate for this project, both publicly and behind the scenes. Your commitment has meant the world to us, and we are truly grateful. We do not take your support for granted, not even for a second.

I am confident that you and Ayilola will resolve this publicly/privately and with the mutual respect you have always shown each other. In time, the dust will settle, and our shared mission will remain stronger than any misunderstanding.

Please, Doc, accept my heartfelt apology. This project will always stay focused on serving the Nigerian youths we set out to help, and we must never allow temporary challenges to burn bridges between good people who are on the same side.

How now? What exactly are you talking about?

I’ve shared people who have publicly testified, with their own accounts, that laptops are being distributed.

These are individuals we interviewed, alongside an independent member, @dranthoniaeddo, @TosinOlugbenga, and @Raye_Hg.

Burner account or not, these people clearly showed they needed the laptops, and their stories were convincing.

You weren’t there, and comments like this only water down the project.

So because they have few followers, they should be discredited? That’s not right at all.

As much as I have lot of reasons to regret bringing into existence the 10k Laptops Project, I will not give in to naysayers.

Many people have invested in this project, so turning back now is not an option.

Some don’t even care about my mental health; they are only focused on watering down the project, attacking my personality and also ensuring that the project dies a natural death .

However, we’ve come too far to back down.

This project will reach its destination .

My first personal encounter with Johnny Drille @Johnnydrille was truly impactful.

We talked about the 10k Laptops Project, and I explained the unnecessary backlash I’ve been facing.

He simply smiled and said, “Bro, keep doing what you’re doing. Stay transparent and maintain maximum accountability.”

He was incredibly cool and down to earth.
