My therapist told me that this is normal and that you can't rely on your youthful energy to drive your motivation forever. You have to find another source of power from within.
If you are emotionally more sensitive than others, please do yourself a favor and date people who won’t judge you for experiencing emotions to the degree that you do. If your trauma has shaped you to possess great depths then date people who aren’t afraid to reach them.
To be disabled is to grieve. It’s grieving the body you’ll never have, it’s grieving the loss of capabilities over time, it’s grieving the abandonment from society as a whole, it’s grieving the lack of accessibility and inclusion. Grief is all encompassing if you’re disabled.
