@thomas_ivor Oops. At least it does still just about work for hydration purposes, even if it does blow the lid off your bidon. Nifty purchase with the ice though!
I need to call the tax free childcare helpline, who apparently have tried to call me, but left no messages. When is the service open to receive calls? Monday -Friday 9am-6pm. Someone should get an award for how accessible this service is to working parents. #fail
@EastMidRailway missed the train I paid a fortune for because all gates closed and staff hiding the other side of the gate line..You can check your systems to see what time the staff closed the gateline. Can I claim #delayrepay for unattended gatelines?
@salvationarmyuk Very glad that the Salvation Army has now had something to say about this! I think it is a shame that your voice was not part of the joint open letter from others in the sector, published 2 days ago (before the King’s Speech). Would have hoped to see the SA leading the charge!
@NorthantsPolice Does this survey relate to just this account? There are multiple accounts related to policing in Northants, not just this one. There’s no freeform questions or space for suggestions. There needs to be clarity as to which accounts genuinely represent the relevant force.
@FamilyByCycle@MulberryHomesUK Yep, a secure cycle park instead of a car park at the station would have been a better investment in the community, and on an e-bike I think that you’d be quicker door to door than in your car once you factor in sitting in traffic.
@HoverAtters @JoRigby_Balham Got a solution to that: let’s imagine the bike stores is placed on the road, using up one car space to allow multiple residents to have secure bike parking. The cost of the use of the bike parking, spread across the number of spaces should equal no more than one resident permit.
@ChronandEcho We need a proper Vision Zero policy to take proper steps to reduce the KSI figures on our roads. Do we have any leaders who will step up? https://t.co/eESUNYgEOe
@2_Wheeled_Wolf @girlonabrompton @WilliamNB They are the QL2.1s. From memory, it’s where the top rail screws into the pannier, there is a bit of adjustment available. My panniers are mounted level, as they came, but Tom’s are set slightly angled, which just lifts them away from heels slightly at the bottom.
@2_Wheeled_Wolf @girlonabrompton @WilliamNB Some panniers allow you to adjust the angle on the pannier itself so you can angle it away from where your heels strike. Ortlieb Plus rear rollers have this adjustment and others also may have. We have used that to gain extra clearance for heels.
@McDonaldsUK My kids take back the toys to the counter when they get given them. They don’t buy in to sending tat to landfill. Confuses the staff no end. We asked for books, but would rather have nothing than junk toys.
Has broken all rules and purchased 3 peppers by using my kids as mules. “It’s restricted to one per household. You’re breaking the rules.” The woman in front of me bought the last multipack with 3 in it - no questions asked. Shades of @rhodgilbertshow and the baked potato.
@DrProudman Why do Harry and Meghan need a residence in the UK? They are still living in their mansion in the States. I feel they can probably cope. They’re not exactly homeless! Meantime, people without a mansion in America get made homeless every day. Why not focus on that instead.
