In 9ja, You'll apply for school ID card in 100 level and You'll have to keep disturbing them so you can get it on time in 300 level.

You'll leave Nigeria and your ID card would be printed in front of you in less than 2 mins, the day ypu arrive. ID card that gives you access to the library and used to mark attendance. You even use it to get discount on the bus and some malls and restaurants.

9ja school ID cards have zero benefit, yet takes forever to print. Shameful!

After many decades of independence, somehow we still blame the West for our problem. Every damn thing Africans suffered during Colonialism, Africans have suffered it double under our own African leaders.

Did Europe unite to make Europe great ? Did Asia unite? Did the Middle East unite ? Did South or North America unite?

So why do these guys keep portraying the concept of a united Africa being a threat to the west ?

Again it’s just the easy way out, to blame everyone else for our misfortune than accept where exactly we stand. Blame the CIA, blame America, blame blame blame.

They use Asia as reference point, but ignore the fact that China and other Asian countries over the years have sponsored their best of minds to go to America and other top schools abroad to learn from the best of the best and then come home.

The illusion that you don’t need the west for anything when in reality we have zero originality on most things across relevant field of studies.

Science, Finance, Medcine, Economics, Mathematics, Technology, we lag far behind in all and without western education we lack originality of ours.

So, why can’t we accept our limitations, embrace what is useful from the west then build on ourselves in our way like China, India and the rest did and are doing ?

The human society survives on exchange of knowledge, information and experience; there is no need for any united Africa and we are no stupid threat to anyone.

Every single deficit we accept that we have in terms of infrastructure, medicine, education and finance is predominantly because we view it all from a 1st world perspective. Without that lens we genuinely don’t know better.

PS: This is not a low self esteem tweet, because that’s the next line you would tow; abuse and insult me while using Apple phones from America 👍👍.

The Cobalt in Congo if they give you today can you transform it into something useful? No !!! Why ? Blame CIA
