Today, Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (@Senfartaag Fartaag), met with @ChineseSomalia . Ambassador @AmbWangYu in Mogadishu to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing shared priorities in security and institutional capacity-building.

Discussions focused on support for security sector development, professional training, and cooperation in addressing explosive threats, including mines and unexploded ordnance. At the National Stabilisation Coordination Forum, Minister of Interior Security General Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail @Senfartaag highlighted the Federal Government’s progress in strengthening internal security, especially in areas recently liberated from extremist groups.

He attributed these achievements to the unity between national security agencies and the Somali people who worked together to build lasting peace and stability.

the minister emphasised that ongoing cooperation among security institutions is essential for sustainable stabilisation and implementing the government’s national recovery and development plans.

“Security and stability are a shared responsibility, and our success lies in our unity,” the Minister stated.
