Dave McMenamin says Amen Thompson has no idea how Kevin Durant is feeling:
"Amen Thompson was asked how KD was feeling and he said 'To be honest with you, I don't know.' Whether that means KD has been doing all of his rehab away from the team or the team hasn't been checking in on him, that's another dynamic to look for"
Islam does not treat natural processes and divine action as mutually exclusive. Science describes the mechanism, while revelation describes the purpose. Observation explains the how, while the Quran reveals the why.
There is no contradiction between acknowledging physical causation and affirming divine governance. In the Islamic worldview, nature has never operated independently of God. Rather, it is His creation operating under His command. The believer does not view natural law as a replacement for divine will—but as its expression.
The Quran calls the observable world a collection of āyāt—signs. Studying nature becomes an act of recognizing divine wisdom rather than displacing it. Science, when practiced ethically and humbly, becomes a means of awe, not arrogance. For this reason, reflection upon the heavens, the stars, the night sky, and the ordered cosmos is a spiritual exercise. The Quran consistently points the human being to creation as a door to knowledge of the Creator.
