“Read books. Travel when you can. Learn how to cook one meal exceptionally well. Sit in old bars and talk to strangers. Wear your best jacket to dinner. Appreciate good wine, good music, and good conversation. Do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Set the example for younger men who are watching you. Call your parents. Take long walks. Leave your phone behind sometimes. Become the kind of man people feel better after being around. Life is short, so live it well.”

@BestBuyCanHelp I purchased a Samsung tv 2022 with 4 year BB protection plan for $229. It had to be repaired Feb 2026. tv has same issue as Feb 2026. BB heartland said tv must have 4 major repairs till replacement tv store credit. My PP expires July 2026. Seems the BBPP iswaste.
@WasiMOra Sometimes it may make sense to sell the family business at its peak. They don’t have to Multigenerational. As with families, family businesses also pass through a life cycle and at times it may make sense to cash out.
@Asad_Ashah Seems the lenders & policy makers are hung up on ageold economic metrics which haven’t been challenged lately. The real measure of progress is how the quality of life improved for those living hand to mouth rather than fancy economic metrics and rise in stock market indices.
@Asad_Ashah@zafar_masud Yes. Metrics for “real growth” and performance improvement must reflect a measure for uplifting the quality of life for millions of non- elite. Other factors - healthcare, affordable housing, access to potable water, health and safety standards, etc. GDP is outdated. .
@murtazawahab1 The penalty for wall chalking and painting on walls must be advertised and enforced and be applied to any parking on walls underpasses etc
In a world changing faster than our plans, the real advantage isn’t certainty — it’s curiosity. The people who will thrive aren’t the ones who cling to what they know, but those who keep rethinking, unlearning, and adapting with a flexible mind.
