Please help India's cerebral Palsy football team fulfil their dreams of representing India. They have given it their all to get to this stage and raise the funds required. Now only visa is left. @UKinIndia@Lindy_Cameron
India's Cerebral Palsy Football Team is stuck. They have not been granted UK visa to participate in an international tournament. They are completely on their own and needs help. These kids have really worked hard. @PMOIndia@DrSJaishankar@MEAIndia@OfficeOf_MM@10DowningStreet
As a @UTAustin alum, I hope ppl realize this is not the "University of Texas at Austin" & not even the recently created "University of Austin."
Difficult to say what it is cuz this "Austin University" barely has a website & this man promised same project in Middle East in 2018.
This is game-changing, world-improving, lives-saving history unfolding in real time.
Absolutely astonishing.
My deepest congratulations and gratitude to the researchers and staff at @ENERGY's @Livermore_Lab for this incredible feat.
And people have different priorities anyways and workers are not just machines there to produce output for you, they are whole people with lives who should always be treated with compassion
I've really been so angry watching all of this Twitter stuff unfold, because Elon is an embodiment of all of the character traits I find the most despicable. A weak man who abuses those he has power over, expects everyone to praise him all the time, views life as a competition
I have been on many campuses that have CS majors which create all the intro opps that students know about &, pragmatically speaking, basically guarantee only students who had access to CS in high school are set up to finish those courses.
What cost to society is this?
My high school didn't have any programming, like roughly half of high schools in the US, and nobody ever told me programming was a thing I could try. Intro CS in college was hard, and everyone told me it'd only get harder. But it only got *easier*
