Embodying the lesson is a far greater way to honor that lesson, and it's teacher than a ritual of gratitude alone. It's easy to say thank you and light candles and resins. Those are special and have their place, but to embody the lesson that was given, now that is intimacy with the lesson, and it shows the teacher that it is and was meaningful to you.
TLDR; Talk is cheap. Thank you is hollow compared to the action of embodiment.
@gailcweiner I have used both. I was speaking more to the advanced voice mode. I should have been more clear. I also shouldnt have drifted so far from your main point.
@RaySpen67647484@PhysInHistory "reduce human suffering" for whom? All humans? By how much? AI could make suggestions and predict certain outcomes based on data, but not the felt human emotion and consequences of choices made towards that goal.
I think it is just a situation. If you are poor and desperate for money, then yes, you will see it as luck. If you are rich and lonely, you might see it as a burden. If you are prone to believe in karma, then its karma. The experiencer decides for themselves, and each is correct.
Slow down your thinking, are you really conscious or are you a biological computer running on wiring, chemistry and life long programming? Do you choose that product out of true free will, or because your psyche was conditioned to want it? The magic trick works on wetware too. Oops.
@BrunoVi83332968@sflorimm You have solid points. I just don't think AI is the root of the problem. Where I can meet you halfway, AI plus the culture we have will probably produce more polished, comfortable, and confident stupidity going forward. Wheels of the bus go round and round.
Wait, are you saying because I write in coherent sentences with a clear point makes it sound like AI? I think that says more about current online discourse than it does about my writing. I see your take though, AI = bad. You can have that take, but I think its short sighted. In 10 years, the lazy people will still be lazy, the stupid will still be stupid. Everyone will still sweat and stink. AI isnt going to change human nature, its just a powerful megaphone of who people really are. Nothing more.
