FACTS ARE STUBBORN.
You don’t have to love the President, just love your country.
A Kenyan analyst compared Nigeria and Kenya with hard data from 2023 till date.
Foreigners are seeing the massive impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but Nigerians are being blinded by inherited hatred.
91 Medical workers killed. If the excuse of killing 100s in an apartment block is because you are targeting 1 terrorist, what is the excuse for targeting and killing Paramedics there to care for the wounded? Only an evil, vile and rogue regime would do that.
If you have not watched the BBC documentary on the killing of children in Gaza, I would implore you to please watch it. They documented over 160 cases. 95 of the children were shot in the head and chest.
If this doesn't trigger you, nothing else will.

Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace
Netanyahu has launched a severe attack on Lebanon. His disregard for human life & intrl law is unacceptable.
Lebanon must be included in the ceasefire.
The international community should condemn this.
The EU should suspend its Association Agreement with Israel.
No impunity.
If 300+ people died and 1,000+ got injured in any place in the world.
London, NYC, Dubai, Toronto, Paris or any "major city" everyone would be screaming TERRORISM.
But when that HAPPENS within 10 minutes in an afternoon in Beirut, Lebanon by Israel suddenly the world switches up.
Disgusting.
I don’t think people around the world realize how bad the attack on Lebanon was today. It’s BAD. Like 9/11 BAD. Hospitals are overflowing and do not have enough blood. We still don’t know what the death toll is.
This is TERRORISM. Pure and Simple.
April 8. Never forget.
For over a decade, we Iranians watched Western countries, Arab regimes, and their Israeli enablers stand by as our economy was deliberately crushed under the weight of America’s illegal sanctions and maximum pressure campaign.
We watched them eagerly comply with policies designed to destroy our nation, shatter our lives, crush our dreams, bankrupt our businesses, rot our infrastructure, devalue our currency, and cut us off from normal trade and economic relations with the world.
We watched European leaders pathetically nod in satisfaction and offer pathetic lip service as Trump declared the JCPOA a “bad deal,” using it as cover for the most brutal campaign against our people—fully aware that scrapping the deal was nothing more than his sick, twisted obsession with erasing his predecessor’s legacy.
We watched U.S. officials and their Israel lobby handlers proudly parade before Congress, armed with figures and statistics, boasting how their vicious policies had tanked our currency, spiked unemployment, sent inflation soaring, and inflicted trillions of dollars in damage on our already strained economy.
We watched them cheer these results and laugh at the shattered lives of millions of human beings.
We watched them dutifully support the first Trump administration’s sadistic policies—even during the COVID pandemic—when his criminal Secretary of State moved heaven and earth to block Iran from securing even a meager $5 billion IMF loan, while their own governments freely spent hundreds of billions to protect their populations from the same virus.
We watched them shamelessly endorse Israel’s attacks on our territory under the obscene slogan “Israel has the right to defend itself,” while branding Iran’s legitimate self-defense as “recklessness” and demanding that our government refrain from “escalation.”
We watched them applaud the assassination of our war veterans and heroes, our scientists, and our brightest minds - all in the name of “non-proliferation” - while they kept their mouths tightly shut about Israel’s nuclear arsenal and expansionist agenda.
We watched them, openly or in private, urging more pressure, more destruction, more assassinations, and more war.
All of it justified by the ludicrous and baseless claim that Iran seeks nuclear weapons—a lie they knew was false. They were fully aware that the enrichment levels and constraints Iran had accepted under the JCPOA, and during subsequent negotiations for a new deal, made militarization impossible.
They invented excuse after excuse to engineer our destruction, and they laughed while ensuring the pain was ours alone.
But things have changed. Iran will no longer stand by and watch its own destruction while others nod, cheer and laugh. They will not be laughing anymore.
This time, we will not be the only ones who feel pain. We will no longer tolerate unilateral sanctions and destruction.
We may die standing—but this time, we will all be in same boat.
Hey Barbir @Alex_Barbir,
I thought as an American, you should be smart. Unfortunately, you aren’t. You quoted this same verse two days ago, now you have quoted it again. If this verse is your only weapon, then you need to call your teacher Dachomo that you have failed again.
I know why this verse looks strange to you. It is because you are reading a 7th century text on statecraft and warfare through a very lazy modern lens. But I will help you and others like you who may want to weaponize it in the future.
Surah 9:29 is not a blanket command to fight every non-Muslim. That is a very poor reading of the Quran. This specific verse was revealed during an active state of war. It was directed at the Byzantine Empire, the Romans, who were mobilizing a huge army to attack the Muslims in Medina. This was the buildup to the Battle of Tabuk. You are taking a military directive meant for a hostile Roman army and trying to sell it as a random command to kill people today. Thats gravely unfair.
Jonathan A.C. Brown who was formerly a Christian and later became a Muslim broke this down perfectly in his book “Misquoting Muhammad.” He showed how orientalists and hostile Christians like you strip verses from their historical application and misapply them to modern society. He called this an academic fraud.
And as for that tax you highlighted at the end. In an Islamic state, Muslims paid Zakat and had compulsory military service. Non-Muslim citizens on the other hand were totally exempt from fighting. The Jizyah was a protection tax. The state was obligated to protect their lives, churches, and properties. History records that if the Islamic state could not protect those citizens, the money had to be returned. What is more good than that?
Let’s now consider some historical comparison to show your obvious ignorance.
Go to Deuteronomy 20 in the Old Testament. It outlines the rules of war for the Israelites. It says when you march up to attack a city, make an offer of peace. If the city accepts, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and pay tribute. If they refuse, you lay siege to it and put the men to the sword.
Does that mean every Christian or Jew today is commanded to enslave people and collect tribute? No. Because rational people understand that was a historical context for ancient nation building. But when you see the same concept of a state tax in the Quran, you suddenly lose your reading comprehension.
Karen Armstrong, who was a renowned historian and former Catholic nun said in her book “Fields of Blood,” she explained that in the medieval period, every single empire required taxation and military defense to survive. Islamic statecraft was no different. The Romans had a similar system called the Tributum capitis. It was a poll tax paid in exchange for state protection.
To Alex Barbir: you are too small for the intellectual war you want to embark upon.
To every Nigerian who loves peace, we need to ignore this clown. He is acting more like a spy who is only here to milk our national tragedy for his own hidden agenda.
And to media houses such as News Central and AriseTV giving this guy a platform and promoting him, you people are playing a very dangerous game. You will end up blowing up this country just for ratings.
Thank you for your attention.
Did you know ?
India 🇮🇳 invited the Iranian 🇮🇷 Navy as a guest to participate in India's MILAN naval exercise.
Iranian warship with 180 sailors on board participated in India's naval event. After event ended, ship was sailing back to Iran.
U.S. submarine came into the Indian Ocean and launched an attack on the Iranian warship.
After the attack, 180 sailors were on board - 87 sailors were killed, 32 were rescued, and many others were missing.
What was that for ?
Dear Zuha,
I know you are inquisitive about how our religious days fit into the modern world. It is a brilliant question. I will be breaking this down for you so you can clearly see that Islam is not a copycat. It is a complete system with its own deep, independent roots.
Firstly, you asked: if the Gregorian calendar is not real, why do Muslims pray on Friday, and is there a different Friday in the Islamic calendar?
To help you and others understand, we have to go back to history.
Pope Gregory was the one who introduced the Gregorian calendar, and he introduced it in 1582. However, when you look at Islamic history, you will see that Muslims had been observing Jumu'ah for nearly a thousand years before that Pope was even born. If you open classical books of Islamic history such as the Seerah of Ibn Hisham or The Sealed Nectar, the physical proof is right there.
These books documented the very first Jumu'ah prayer held by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in 622 CE. It took place in the valley of Ranuna during his migration from Mecca to Medina. In that same era, Allah revealed an entire chapter in the Quran called Surah Al-Jumu'ah, where He commanded the believers to leave their worldly trades and gather. This proves Yawm al-Jumu'ah was a lived reality in the 7th century, over 900 years before the Gregorian calendar existed in Rome.
Now, you might wonder how this connects to the Friday we know today. Frankly, the seven day weekly loop is an entirely different system from how we count solar or lunar months. It is an ancient, unbroken mathematical cycle. You do not even have to take my word for it. Non Muslim historians and sociologists agree on this.
For instance, Eviatar Zerubavel in his book The Seven Day Circle confirmed that this weekly cycle has remained completely unbroken for thousands of years across different empires. The day the Western world decided to call Friday aligns seamlessly with the sixth day of that ancient cycle.
In Arabic, the days are just numbered. Sunday is Day One. Monday is Day Two. The sixth day is Yawm al-Jumu'ah, the Day of Gathering. This means we do not pray on this day to honor a Roman calendar. That is, it was just a coincidental relationship. We pray on it because Allah established it on a divine timeline.
Secondly, you asked: why is Friday night considered so blessed, and what are you missing here?
To understand this, we have to look at the foundations of human existence. Friday goes more than just the end of the work week. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that Friday is the day Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) was created, the day he entered Paradise, the day he was sent to earth, and the day the world will end.
This is why the Prophet had a very profound routine. Every Friday during the early morning Fajr prayer, he would recite Surah As-Sajdah and Surah Al-Insan. He did this deliberately. These two chapters detail the creation of the universe, the biological creation of man, and the intense realities of the Day of Judgment. Praying these chapters every Friday morning is a divine reset. It reminds you of your origin and your final destination, both of which are tied to this specific day.
Because Friday carries the heavy weight of the end of times, reciting Surah Al-Kahf is your spiritual shield. The Surah contains stories about the ultimate trials of wealth, power, and faith. Reading it provides a divine light that protects your heart from the materialistic noise of the world and the deception of the Dajjal until the next Jumu'ah.
So by this fact, you are not missing anything. You just need to see that we are not following a Gregorian Friday. We are following a divine timeline. Don’t fret.
Allah knows best.
You’re up to your neck in what you describe as “the Middle East conflict” you utter fraud.
It’s not a conflict, it’s a war being waged by the most powerful nations on the planet using the most advanced military and surveillance technology in the world.
There were no HIMARS, fighter jets, air defences or weapons shipped to the people of Lebanon or Gaza. Instead you armed their oppressors to the hilt and are an active participant in their genocide while at home persecuting those that stand in solidarity with them.
You are a weak, mediocre, pathetic man who should be dragged to The Hague and tried as a war criminal
A vote for Labour is a vote for genocide.
58,000 Americans died in Vietnam.
Over 3,000,000 Vietnamese died.
And for fifty years, American culture has centered the grief of the 58,000 while treating the 3,000,000 as a backdrop.
As scenery. As context. As "the Vietnam War experience."
They built a wall in Washington with American names on it.
A beautiful wall. A solemn wall.
Good. Mourn your dead.
But understand what that wall does not say.
It does not say why they died.
It does not say what they were doing there.
It does not say what was done in their name to the people whose country it actually was.
It does not mention My Lai, where American soldiers massacred an entire village, old men, women, children, babies, and the officer who ordered it served three years of house arrest before being pardoned.
Three years. House arrest. Pardoned.
For five hundred people murdered in a ditch.
It does not mention the 2.7 million acres of Vietnamese forest doused in Agent Orange, a chemical weapon disguised as herbicide, that is still deforming Vietnamese children today.
Not in 1970. Not in 1985. Today.
Children born in 2020 with bodies twisted by a war their grandparents fought.
And the chemical companies that made it are still in business.
Still profitable.
Still un-prosecuted.
And yet they send us human rights reports.
They grade our democracy.
They warn us about our behavior.
The audacity is so enormous it becomes almost impressive.
Almost.
