تمثل التجارب السريرية إحدى ركائز التقدم الطبي، متجاوزةً حدود البحث التقليدي لتغدو أساسًا ترتكز عليه الابتكارات العلاجية، وتعكس قدرة الأنظمة الصحية على تحويل المعرفة إلى حلول تُحدث أثرًا ملموسًا، وتمهّد لإطلاق حلولًا لمستقبل أكثر استدامة.

إبرازًا لدورها في هذا المجال، شاركت المدينة الطبية الجامعية دول العالم الاحتفاء بـ"اليوم العالمي للتجارب السريرية"، مسلطةً الضوء على الدور الحيوي الذي يلعبه البحث العلمي مُمثلاً بوحدة التجارب السريرية في تطوير العلاجات الطبية. حيث قدّمت الفعالية طرحًا معرفيًا، إلى جانب إبراز منظومة العمل المتكاملة بكفاءة واحترافية.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة امتدادًا لنهج المدينة الطبية الجامعية في ترسيخ ثقافة البحث العلمي والابتكار، وتعزيز مكانة التجارب السريرية كأحد المحركات الرئيسية لتطوير القطاع الصحي في سلطنة عمان.

@ialmazeedi Yes! Zanzibar is a melting pot of cultures because of its historical importance as a trading hub between the Indian subcontinent and Arabian peninsula and Africa. I’ve been once as well and loved it!

Caught a glimpse of the Swahili inscription on Bibi’s (grandma’s) Kanga this Friday morning. “Nainuwa mikono yangu kukuombea dua”, which translates to “I raise my hands in supplication to pray for you”.

Bibi tells me that this one was designed by a family friend, Aisha Al Abri, and encapsulates the greatest gift an elder in our tradition can give to their loved ones. Prayers whispered in the dark of night that will light their path long after they are gone.

Kanga is a colorful fabric worn by women in East Africa and by many Omani & Yemeni Arabs with historical links to Zanzibar & the East African coast. They are often inscribed with witty, humerous, or wise proverbs that were initially printed in Arabic and later Roman letters.
