FACTUAL. I had never touched 3D package before I attended university. So to catch up I did every assignment 3 times, for the reps. If we got told to make a car, I made 3. Same for characters, same for props. I was very very bad at first. Grind changed me into a AAA game dev.

not a gaming setup.

a small war room for skill acquisition.

• soldering station → electronics becomes real
• 3D printer → ideas become geometry
• microcontrollers → code touches hardware
• sensors + motors → physics enters the loop

It is absolutely NOT OPEN to FKE to advise employers to use NSSF rates prescribed under a law declared as UNCONSTITUTIONAL. It is not a matter of unilateral employer choice or discretion. 창의성은 재능이 아니라 시스템이다 — '성배(Grail) 노트' 방법론.

다빈치 노트 6,000쪽을 본 적 있는 사람은 알겠지만, 엄청나게 뒤죽박죽임.
폴더도 없고, 분류도 없고, 해부학 스케치 옆에 뜬금없는 철학 메모가 붙어있음.
근데 다빈치만 그런 게 아님. 다윈도, 뉴턴도 전부 이랬음.
천재들은 정리를 안 했음. 대신 한 권에 다 몰아넣고, 끊임없이 다시 봤음.
이걸 정리한 게 '성배 노트' 방법론임.
이름은 인디아나 존스의 성배 일기장에서 따온 건데, 핵심은 단순함. 모든 걸 노트 한 권에 모으고, 계속 복습하는 것.

1. 정리하지 말 것

노션이나 불렛 저널은 아이디어가 떠오르면 "이걸 어느 폴더에 넣지?" 고민하게 만듦.
그 마찰이 아이디어를 휘발시킴.
성배 노트는 다음 빈 공간에 그냥 적음. 명언이든 스케치든 쓰레기 같은 생각이든 상관없음.
자기 검열 없이, 분류 없이, 떠오르는 대로 몰아넣는 거임.
깔끔하게 정리하려다 노트 펼치기가 두려워지는 게 진짜 문제임. 무질서함은 버그가 아니라 핵심 기능임.

2. 적는 게 아니라 다시 보는 게 핵심임

시간 날 때마다 노트를 앞뒤로 넘김.
3주 전에 적은 메모랑 어제 적은 아이디어가 우연히 만나면, 분야를 넘나드는 새로운 연결이 생김. 이게 창의성임.
폴더별로 예쁘게 분류하면 아이디어끼리 섞일 기회가 사라짐. 근데 뒤죽박죽인 한 권 안에서는 융합이 자연스럽게 일어남.
복습을 반복하면 거품은 빠지고, 보잘것없던 메모가 프로젝트로 발전하기도 함. 좋은 아이디어만 살아남는 자연 필터링이 되는 거임.

3. 딱 하나, 적으면 안 되는 것

할 일 목록. 이건 이 노트에 쓰면 안 됨.

우유 사기, 이메일 보내기 같은 건 일시적이고 소모적인 정보임. 섞이면 창의적 사고를 방해함.
할 일은 포스트잇에 적고, 성배 노트는 오직 아이디어와 생각만을 위해 남겨둬야 함.
이건 더 많은 일을 해내는 도구가 아님. 더 의미 있는 걸 만들어내는 도구임.

HOW TO: Create Realistic 3D Food in Blender in 10 steps.

1) Get Multiple references
2) Macro Details (Displacement by sculpting or Procedurally)

*********Material & Texturing*********
3) Always use Normal/Bump map ( Micro details)!
4) Always Use & Mix multiple Image Textures as base color!
5) Only Go Procedural if image texture not possible. (Use a lot of Mask).
6) Subsurface scattering (SSS) Abuse it!!.
Always Change SSS Radius. Eg: Bread=[R: 1, G: 0.9, B: 0.7].
Play with SSS Depth (important)

7) Always Try to use HDR even with low intensity
8) Avoid using Pure White light (slightly colored) [R: 1, G: 0.9, B: 0.7]
9) Use 1-3 light setup. And always Angle ur light

back in 2023, i wanted to become a freelance writer. unfortunately my south asian immigrant parents would’ve probably laughed and berated me. “that’s not a career.” “have fun making pennies, you shouldve gone into engineering/medical.”

so that summer, i worked in silence. i started my own projects, self taught myself marketing, content creation, copywriting. put myself out there online. they just assumed i was dilly dallying post grad in my bedroom.

2 years later, I do full time work from home writing and content creation, financially indepedent, living in my dream city.

nobody will believe you until it actually happens. then they’ll ask you how you accomplished. stay quiet and stay faithful in your own self belief and validation before exonerating it to the outside world.

That budget was not written for SMEs, content creators, influencers, fintech entrepreneurs, farmers, manufacturers or ordinary hustlers trying to build something honest.

It was a warning shot.

The full force of KRA is coming, because that budget deficit is not a joke. The government must raise money from somewhere, and instead of cutting waste, stopping corruption and reducing reckless spending, they will come for the people already struggling to survive.

Look at the sectors that received the biggest allocations and you will understand the game. Money has been directed to areas where looting can happen easily, while those who create jobs, pay taxes, produce goods and keep the economy alive are being squeezed dry.

They will loot from the top as they bleed the bottom.

This is not just bad economics. It is cruelty dressed as fiscal policy. Ruto and this government have made it clear that the ordinary Kenyan is nothing more than a revenue target.
