Visited the Emali-Matiliku road, which was launched just two days ago by Mr. Ruto.
Shockingly, all the big machinery is gone and no work has begun. This pattern repeats itself across the country, a regime more interested in grand launches and photo opportunities than in actual progress. Projects are announced with fanfare, but the people are left waiting for real work to happen.
This is why the whole country sings #WANTAM as our second National Anthem.
RAO has been many things as a politician.
He hit limits nobody dared.
In 1994, serving as the Langata MP under Ford-Kenya, Raila had a disagreement with Wamalwa Kijana the PL.
RAO decided to quit the party and join the NDP where he sought a new mandate to lead Lang'ata
Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi: In 1991, when President Moi started looking for Raila Odinga to put him in custody again, we hid him in my house since I wasn’t well-known within the system. At that time, rumors spread that he had gone into exile. After some time, we tried to smuggle him out to seek refuge in the United States. We disguised him as an old woman and put him in my car. My wife drove as we attempted to get him into the basement of the American Embassy, but the then U.S. ambassador declined and blocked us from entering.
Kumbe the Kondele Vigil was real
A screen and a tent have been erected with speakers too and people are peacefully dancing to ohangla
This was few minutes to 7pm and the roundabout was close to being full

Simba ogwe tao!!!
We have received the sad news of the death of former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Odinga was a strong voice for democracy in Kenya and a close friend of Norway, where he spent time in exile in 1991.
Kenya has lost a great statesman.
"I am ready for Africa, and I believe in the story of the African lion. The lion is an African animal; it is the king of the jungle." ~ Raila Amollo Odinga
It Is A Dark Wednesday Morning. The pain is beyond the world💔
FARE THEE WELL BABA😭😭
MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE FROM H.E. UHURU KENYATTA FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF FORMER PRIME MINISTER HON. RAILA AMOLO ODINGA.
My heart is heavy, and my spirit is burdened with a grief that is both profound and deeply personal. The news of Raila’s passing has left a silence that echoes across our nation, a silence where once there was a voice of thunder and conviction.
To me, Raila was more than a political colleague; he was a defining part of my own journey, in public service and in life. Raila and I were navigators on opposing currents, charting different courses for the nation we both loved. At some point along that journey, we became political opponents and often, the weight of that competition felt immense.
Baba, as we fondly referred to him, was a man who made you sharpen your own ideas, compelling you to defend your positions with rigor and passion.
However, in the recent years, a different bond was forged; one of respect, of shared patriotism, and a common desire to see a united Kenya.
That journey from fierce political opponents to partners in the pursuit of “Handshake” unity taught me the true measure of the man. I saw firsthand his unwavering passion for this country, his deep-seated belief in justice, and his incredible capacity to think beyond personal ambition for the sake of national peace. He was a formidable opponent, but he was an even more invaluable ally in the cause of reconciliation.
I have lost a friend and a brother. I will miss our conversations sometimes challenging, always insightful and the fire of belief that never left his eyes.
To Mama Ida, the children, and the entire Odinga family, I extend my deepest, most heartfelt condolences. You have shared Baba with Kenya for a lifetime, and we mourn with you. We have lost a father to the nation, a steadfast champion for the people, and a true son of Kenya.
His legacy is not just in the political battles he fought, but in the peace he helped build. It is etched in the very fabric of our nation. Rest in peace, my brother. Your work here is done, but your echo will never fade.
H.E. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, C.G.H
