Every performance carried weight. And when it was time for open mic, many didn’t want to stop at just one piece they kept coming back to share more.
It felt like the birth of new voices, new confidence, and new storytellers.

This edition of Asali truly reflected the theme, Ashabul Kahf.
We witnessed something special. New talents stepped onto the Asali stage for the very first time and delivered pieces that genuinely surprised us. Some of them discovered a new side of themselves in the process.
In the middle of work, decisions, and everyday life, many of us return to the same place.
Prayer. Trust. Asking Allah for direction when things feel unclear.
Across different journeys, faith shows up as guidance, strength, and a reminder to slow down and realign.
Looking Forward, Because of its success and the depth of connection it created, Docuscreen will continue in Kano next year.
Also, as part of our plans for 2026, we will begin screening documentaries made by African storytellers from our own communities.
its your chance to understand who we are and what we do too.
These stories shows the impact we have made and all the amazing people weve met along the way.

As we head towards the end of the year,most of our projects have ended but the memories still stay with us. Have you known Cavemen Africa for the whole year? If no we are doing an impact series with all the stories of our past events;
We’ve journeyed through culture, danced with love, and tasted freedom.
But before we close this chapter, we ask
what if everything we thought we knew was never really ours?
This month at Asali, we confront the illusion.
Theme: Brainwashed.
Come feel, unlearn, and awaken.
What started as leftover popcorn cups slowly turned into a reason to step outside, breathe fresh air, and get our hands messy planting herbs that have now become part of us here at the Cave.
It reminds us why we started and what impact can look like in small, honest steps.
Every frame carries a story. Every story carries an echo.
Join us as we explore The Art of Visual Storytelling this Friday at 8PM.
