@shagbark_hick Hickory was one of the major furniture making towns but now is more of a pit stop along I40 or people seeking access to CLT. The real beauty of the region is west in the mtns. The blue ridge parkway is a great start. Mt Mitchell (highest pt east of the Mississippi) is not far.
@LesPurves 100% agree…Saw them in year 2 or 3 of lollapalooza not long after this album came out and can still feel the adrenaline of being in the pit on that summer afternoon. They were early in the lineup but them (and tool) blew the headliners away.
@simongerman600 Wow! This is incredible…This archive blows my mind! Sooo many great shows. Aadam Jacobs is the real rock star for his dedication (and you for the promotion). Nice share…Many thanks
@TheKro16 Saw Tool at Lollapalooza in ‘93 in the Undertow era and was blown away so it, and Aenima, are how I think of how Tool should sound. I’ve grown to really love the “newer”more prog albums though. Incredible musicians whose evolution has kept them relevant no matter the era.
@srobo1_ Hopefully you’ll be home soon but there’s a good chicken sandwich place called Bossy Beulah’s at the corner of 1st St & Hawthorne. Just off the exit from Bus 40
