Being deported from the country you've come to study in is every international student's worst nightmare. Pakistani is wholescale deporting Afghan students simply for being Afghan. This is the definition of racism and dehumanization. Afghan students must be allowed to study.

The measure of Pakistan's credibility:

1- Afghan students came for medical studies in Pakistan on a Pakistani government scholarship named after the national poet — the Allama Iqbal Scholarship. They’re in different years of MBBS program. Now they've been refused extensions in visa. What a shame.

2- Meanwhile, Pakistani medical students in Afghan universities are also suffering — not due to the Afghan government but due to the Pakistani government. [Note: they are around 5000. Their annual tuition fee is Rs4-5 million there.]

They got admission there after obtaining an NOC from PMDC. Now PMDC has delisted the Afghan institutions from its category of recognised institutions, and students are at the receiving end through no fault of their own. What a shame.
