@gavreilly Need more competent and experienced people. Imagine the uproar if we had someone of the wealth of trump running the country. Irish people couldn’t allow it. Sad really.
@gavreilly You’d wonder why anyone from a high performance private sector background would go into politics. Pure witch-hunt mindset and toxic jealousy of Irish people. Can never see someone be successful. And then we’re left with the crowd we have - can’t get much done, on budget anyway.
@noshyteplease @Independent_ie It is a private company (for some reason), people only know the detail because of Companies Registration office filings. Will be investigated and sent to Corporate Enforcement Authority. Just bizarre, will be interesting to say the least
@RTEplayer what’s the story with your live stream ad break. Runs way over time and ends up cutting off first few minutes of the live show after break? #RTEUpfront
@Independent_ie Imagine being a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Engineer, Architect, Scientist and still not be considered qualified enough to teach accounting/engineering/tech graph/science. You’d have much higher calibre educators if you allowed pros who want a job change to teach. No 2yr pme
@gavreilly@gavreilly What about in five years time? The government will either go full term, and do a budget but not have time to legislate for it or else forced to call it early and leave a new gov just in the door do the budget. Seems this time of the year in general is not great.
@gavreilly No Irish company can provide modular building to an acceptable standard. Should have got to Europe for a contractor. Anyone in Ireland who claims to be modular are rebranded prefab cabins and shed builders. Another farce.
@irishexaminer “The €188,640 tender for the next four years requires the fitness instructor to operate and manage the Houses of the Oireachtas Service Fitness Room.”
€47,160 a year as self employed contractor. Although not a necessary spend by any means it’s still click bait
