Kampala needs more open spaces (indeed, more parks and squares) rather than less. We don't lack sites for malls, hotels, and apartments.
Kampala, especially the metropolitan areas, are basically virgin. The heart of the city needs to breathe, and City Square (I don't like the name Constitutional Square - another space should have been created to commemorate the 1995 Constitution) facilitates that much needed breath.
Let's save the CITY SQUARE! CPM
The King has many photos of him, but for many of us born in the 1990s, this remains the most memorable. A 3-year-old King on the throne. His portrait was in our home for years, inspiring children who grew up alongside the King. Condolences to the people of Tooro.
