We were told by the INEC staff in this venue that PVC for lost, damaged, transfer and newly done this year are not yet ready as it has not been received from Abuja, the only ones available are new PVC from last year.
This ought not to be so,the process has commenced since over a year ago and this should not be accepted by Nigerians as an excuse.
A voter card is not just a card, the life of Nigerians depend on it. For those that just registered last year go and collect your PVC’s.

On 6 October, during INEC’s press briefing, the Chairman announced that there were 9,692 State House of Assembly candidates.

Today, @inecnigeria published two conflicting files: one lists 10,020 candidates; the other lists 9,802.

Both are on its website.

What kind of confusion is this? I haven’t even started on the multiple errors, inconsistencies and omissions in the lists that basic due diligence should have caught.

This same INEC wants to deploy AI to manage election results.
