Yesterday was (somehow) even better than the dreams. Some tears, thousands of smiles, plenty of joy. The Kop was magnificent. Anfield was magnificent. The loudest I've ever heard it. We could win a million league titles from now, but nothing will even come close to yesterday.
Arne's farewell letter as classy as club's statement. People will try & rewrite history, facts are he took team in 3rd, spent £10m & won Prem. Rejuvenated Grav, improved Szobo, oversaw Macca's best season & elevated Gakpo/Diaz/Salah's game/numbers. Superb in-game management too.
@SamMcGuire90 I just don't get Wirtz. Unbelievable talent. But where does he fit? If we get wingers, where does he play? We get outplayed with 3 CMs, so surely we can't sacrifice one for Wirtz to play #10? And if Slot wanted him wide, we'd have seen more of him LW this season. Makes no sense.
@Corballyred Other than the day he managed his final game, when did Klopp take to the microphone? And when did he do this with any of his previous outgoing players?
Andy Robertson 🏴
The best left-back I've ever seen.
But more importantly, selfless and humble, from start to finish, for nine years.
One of a kind.
💔 😞
Liverpool 1 Brentford 1
End of 25/26 season - undone what made us good over past decade.
£100m signings, £400k p/w contracts, toxic dressing room star, don't run/press/work, poor fitness/training, multiple hols, Insta divas 🤮
Turned into Chelsea/Man U - what efans wanted 💩
Xabi Alonso will be an elite manager IMO - as good as those he played for... Jose, Carlo, Rafa, Pep. But he has to pick right clubs. Real Madrid was mad. Will Chelsea do his reputation any favours? I think he'd be perfect for Liverpool and we'd be crazy not to make an approach.
Somehow 4th not 14th.
PM talk...
£400k p/w "star" who cba tracking back & outscored by Beto/Barry/Welbeck lecturing on standards.
Manager of unfit team with no plan/identity (despite £0.5billion spend) & 19 defeats insists standards are good.
Both chat 💩 and need binning off.

@robbohuyton@Knox_Harrington Well organised & you were great engaging with fans outside. Top podcast too! If this was to gauge support/test waters, then it was pretty unanimous in there. Ignore the knobheads, everyone has opinions but some take it too far. Keep it up so we don't end up with Arsenal prices.
Liverpool 0 PSG 2
We tried.
But we lost this tie last week. Still can't get over how in Paris we embarrassingly set up to lose by margin small enough to give us Barcelona-esque comeback chance at Anfield, putting unreasonable expectation/pressure on players/fans. Baffling. Mad.
Liverpool 2 Fulham 0
Rio is direct, exciting, creative, energetic, impactful, involved, fearless. Outshines the rest when he starts. He gets you up off your seat. Isn't that what it's all about?
Surely he has to start our most important game of the season on Tuesday?
Genuinely can't remember seeing anything like this availability for Liverpool tickets just an hour before kick off. I know the Grand National is on, but still. Wild. Sadly, I don't think there's any coming back from this for the manager.
European Champions PSG 2
Premier League Champions Liverpool 0
Casually test new system & play like lower league minnows in biggest game of season. Grim.
Mad how we let PSG have 100% possession until they scored opener.
Crap performance. Crap view.
Anfield gives us hope.
