Doesn't fix every issue but good starting place. At worst, generates £ to reinvest.

@SamMcGuire90 I just don't get Wirtz. Unbelievable talent. But where does he fit? If we get wingers, where does he play? We get outplayed with 3 CMs, so surely we can't sacrifice one for Wirtz to play #10? And if Slot wanted him wide, we'd have seen more of him LW this season. Makes no sense.

Xabi Alonso will be an elite manager IMO - as good as those he played for... Jose, Carlo, Rafa, Pep. But he has to pick right clubs. Real Madrid was mad. Will Chelsea do his reputation any favours? I think he'd be perfect for Liverpool and we'd be crazy not to make an approach.
