Knicks really did it huh. Other teams are now scrambling to form the best team to dethrone them.
Heat got GA. Celtics looks confused. Hornets, Pistons & Bulls making moves. Cavs and Sixers staying mid.
All these moves to face the Utah Jazz in the Finals.
As of this very moment... I'd probably place the Jazz at 9th. I know many are expecting a huge jump, but winning is hard and a lot of these guys don't know how to win... I think they have a higher ceiling but it may take some time and that front line needs to stay healthy

Dave Meltzer criticizes WWE having Danhausen curse Liv Morgan right before the Queen of the Ring final:
"I really didn’t like him cursing Liv Morgan. Because at this stage of the game, because they’re trying to get this curse thing so over and him so over, the minute he cursed Liv Morgan it’s like ‘Oh, IYO’s winning.’ And I don’t think we needed that.
"There was no way that Liv Morgan was gonna win, and they gave it away."

I love that PBC is getting the love it deserves. But noticed how suddenly most of them are NBA fans once again. Leave some for us, we've been here collecting NBA digital collectibles, while some of you guys are draining what's left of crypto and NFTs.
Don't do that to PBC.
This is so real. Especially when the part where "PBC doesnt have VIPs"
The only problem for us who hasnt transfer to PBC is that for whatever reason they dont verify the accounts from the Philippines, even if we are willing to do the KYC.
Love my TS fellow collectors (many are big #PaniniBlockchain /PBC collectors, like Billo, Scotty) and don’t want PvP, but I think the core differences here are:
- 160 year cardboard pedigree vs a new concept of video clip as collectibles. One is culturally relevant asset (appeared in 300+ films and TV), one is unproven novelty.
- The underlying asset is valuable (highest cardboard ceiling is 1952 Mantle valued at $50M+), while a generic video (if not a video art) is intrinsically 0.
- IP and brand speak. Many people have grown up in Panini’s dominance of last 16 years, many cards of $500M monthly volum in physical hobby are Panini brands and their top configurations. A card is configuration, aesthetic, curation, and rarity. Panini is highest level at all these. Ask anyone who is in the know in physical, they tell you exactly that. A prizm/Kaboom gold/1of1 + star is a $50k concept before everything else. A video clipped from game film, not so much.
- Fundamentals of PBC are those cards. It speaks loudest when highest selling cards have zero utility whatsoever. When PBC catalog closes in NBA/NFL, total supply hard capped, prices skyrocket, this has played out many times in physical hobby to a T, because zero fundamentals gets affected and its gets enhanced in supply crunch and nostalgia peaking. While AllDay closes its release, one cannot do fastbreak-type of utility and no buybacks from team to handhold market floor to put into new packs, price tanked (I’m speaking as owner of the only Mahomes AD 1/1)
- Parallel magic. A card has 1/1 for whales but base /300+ for universal access and layers in between for guys to work way up. Price between tiers is science. Each card is related to another like a living being. One pumps, other’s desirability is felt. While different moments of a given player feel like a self competition, one blocking play of player A really has no bearing on player B’s layup moment.
- No VIP treatment at PBC, everyone is equal. Every drop is equal access. After spending years speaking for them and $4M, I get a cap ($20 max), while TS/AD folks get suite or courtside at games, an experience which is cool at the time but unsustainable and once taken away, price of items gets further discounted. This is why fantasy/gaming/utility items are never collectibles and their price action only starts post-utility, which is a hard place to build intrinsic value. @cg1907BC and I speak on this aspect already years ago.
- PBC community is welcoming, grinding hard, loving the product from heart, helping each other to win together. Spino spending more time speaking for PBC that makes Shams/Fabrizio/Schefter’ screentime blush and makes my wife want refund of a better spino. TS’s X feed while active is a mixed bag and many complaining on core aspects of product, why would anyone want that smoke.
- PBC team listens to feedbacks even if with 1+ year delay and tweaks, such as my Kaboom double gold/green crafting idea in 2021 was implemented in 2022, me asking for more social presence was embrace/approved by team with community stepping up big way from building tracker to commentary to sharing collecting journey real time. When I bought a LeBron TS MMXX 1/32 at $65k 1+ year ago (highest sale in last 3 y) and listed many suggestions, zero gets listened and addressed.
- If one invests $10k in PBC in 2021 reasonably by picking singles, many would have $1M to their name even if on paper. If they put $10k on other sports collectibles on chain in 2021, they would have $100 if lucky but more likely $10-50, or even error codes. In most primal way possible, ROI of $1M vs $100 hits hard. One is “boss watch your voice”, and another is “may I take your order ser” (J/K).
- Ronaldo has 669M followers on IG, he has 7993 cards on PBC. Many are top cards which you trade entire collection for. Coffin card asset. While I know 5 diehard Wade collectors IRL, a Wade TS moment /300,000 simply has 0 chance.
