@BBCPM We received a Christmas card last week, it took 54 days to arrive having travelled 6.8 miles. Snails would take 9.35 days to travel that distance, unfortunately they can’t carry letters!
Al-Tayeb Siddiq from Reuters #Sudan team:
Today we went to the National Museum, only the Sudanese lion god Apedemak, the god Amun, the ram god of the Nile Valley, King Taharqa, and some murals survived.
As for the museum's collections and antiquities storerooms, they were looted, stolen, and destroyed.
A sad day.
Our sincere condolences to Sudanese archaeologists and the Sudanese people.
@Dempsey_art@UCLOutreach@ucl It was lovely to see you and your talented students @SladeSchool. It’ll be great to see the dry point etchings they create at the outreach workshop.
@excelsiorcst The Association of Science & Discovery Centres conference was a great way to end our 2 year project. The @uclcs team are so proud of all the students and the robots they designed and built.

Question: "Is the Earth flat or is it a circle?" Answer: "The first thing we can say is that it's neither of those things because it's a 3 dimensional object."

@UCLEastEngage I’m looking forward to seeing the prints on display. This is the 7th year of the schools printmaking project collaboration with me and @SladeSchool and @UCL_Culture. The work always inspires!
The first #EastBank collaboration on our new campus saw around 100 schoolchildren performing with the @BBCSingers under our magnificent #Gaia globe. Thank you @BMooreAcademy, @Hillyfield_E17,
@stwinefrides and conductor @nic_chalmers.
