@briantylercohen The only reason he wants Fauci prosecuted is because he thinks prosecuting Fauci will exonerate Trump. Trump is the one who should be prosecuted for the Epstein files, COVID 19, and all the other shit he has done.
New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill has declared July 30th Brian Sicknick Day to honor the Capitol Police Officer who lost his life because of the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
RETWEET to honor Officer Sicknick ❤️
@glenn_tunes Yeah, those of us that aren’t kissing his ass are wondering the same thing. A felon should not be allowed to be president. Period. End of sentence!!!!!
BREAKING: TMZ's Harvey Levin releases a viral and deeply moving defense of "amazing public servant" Dr. Fauci and calls the MAGA attacks on him "one of the most heartbreaking things" he’s ever witnessed in government.
This is truly a must-read...
"I have not used TMZ's YouTube channel to vent personal feelings about issues, but I'm going to do that today," Levin said. "Watching Anthony Fauci before a congressional hearing taking the Fifth Amendment is just one of the most heartbreaking things I have seen in government in my lifetime. And this is something we need to reckon with."
"I'm going to say up front, I have problems with the way the CDC handled COVID," he continued. "I think that they did damage to children, to adults, and I don't think they did it maliciously. I think they did it because they were using their judgment and were overprotective, and I think at times overstated things, things they said they knew but really didn't. And I have personal problems with the way that COVID was handled."
"That said, Anthony Fauci, over a period of decades, has been an amazing public servant. In the 80s, I had many friends who died of AIDS, a horrible, painful death. And I had friends who lived because of Anthony Fauci, because he was willing to look at experimental drugs in a different way than they had looked at them before, and that really resulted in lives saved."
"And he has done so many other things in his career to thwart epidemics, to save lives, not just in the United States, but all over the world."
"He has been a dedicated public servant who could have made a lot more money outside of government than inside, but he stayed."
"And now we are at a point where members of Congress, and yes, you, Rand Paul, are on a witch hunt. And the best I can say for Rand Paul is that he's being really honest. I mean, he has said now, over a period of years, he wants Anthony Fauci in a jail cell. He has said it out loud. He wants him in a jail cell. That's the point of this hearing. That's why they're doing this."
"They want to take something that Anthony Fauci says and then claim it amounts to perjury, and they want to prosecute him, they want to convict him, and they want to throw him in prison. That's the point of this hearing. There is no other point of this hearing."
"There could be. I mean, there are things they could certainly ask him, but he can't answer, because if he answers, it doesn't matter what he says. You know, if you can prosecute somebody for frickin' seashells on the beach shore, then you could certainly prosecute somebody for what they say in a congressional hearing."
"And that's the climate we're in. We are in a Senator Joseph McCarthy climate, where there is such fear that people have, and legitimate fear, that they'll end up in prison for what they say, no matter what it is, if they are on the wrong side of somebody in Congress or the administration, that they have been silenced. And that's where we are right now."
"We are in Senator Joseph McCarthy territory. And the idea that you have to watch this man take the Fifth Amendment, and again, I will say that I disagree personally with some of the CDC decisions. Absolutely, I did. That said, he's a public servant who worked for us and saved lives for decades. And we are turning him into what Rand Paul wants to be, a criminal. And Rand Paul has a political agenda, and it is prevailing here."
"Watching Rand Paul order security to throw Anthony Fauci's lawyer out of that hearing was unbelievable to me."
"We are in a dark period of America," he concluded.
More public figures need to speak out like this immediately. Republicans are scapegoating Fauci because they can't handle the truth that Donald Trump was directly responsible for COVID-19 getting as bad as it did. He downplayed it from the very start, undermined experts, and spread dangerous misinformation.
Meanwhile, Dr. Fauci did everything in his power to save as many lives as possible, urging Americans to wear masks, socially distance, and treat the coronavirus like the deadly threat it was. He's an American hero.
If anyone should be hauled in front of Congress to testify about their behavior during the pandemic, it's Trump.

BREAKING: YOU POKED THE BEAR! Rep. Jamie Raskin unleashes a fiery defense of his constituent, the former Olympian who was arrested for allegedly "vandalizing" the Reflecting Pool — and exposes Trump as the real vandal.
This is a brilliant angle...
“Davey Hearn is my constituent, a native-born resident of Montgomery County, a three-time Olympian canoeist, and a famed and celebrated teacher and coach of canoeing and kayaking in our community,” Raskin stated. “He is beloved in my district as a model citizen whether on water or on dry land. He is a great guy.”
The 67-year-old Hearn was arrested last month and indicted by a grand jury (an incredibly easy hurdle to clear). Prosecutors absurdly accused him of "forcefully and violently” tearing up the pool's liner and damaging the sealant. The accusation came as Trump was desperately trying to insist that the hilariously botched renovations were the result of leftist vandals and not the natural consequence of hiring incompetent, crooked contractors to perform the work.
This prosecution is a waste of our time, tax dollars, and a blatant abuse of federal power to help a failed President save face.
"Davey Hearn would never desecrate a federal building or landmark by writing his name on it or affixing his name illegally to it or engaging in any other kind of political graffiti, vandalism or delinquency,” Raskin continued, clearly referring to Trump’s actions. “He would never intentionally damage government property. Whether we are talking about the White House, the Reflecting Pool or the Kennedy Center, Davey would never try to alter, bulldoze or redesign federal property or buildings without explicit Congressional authorization and direction.”
“Davey is an honorable and law-abiding citizen who has won real giant prizes, including eight world championships,” Raskin added. “He did so without any corrupt practices and only through his magnificent hard work and surpassing dedication to the team. He would never try to undercut or sabotage anyone, much less our entire community.”
If he’s found guilty in this ludicrous legal saga, Hearn could face up to 10 years in prison, an absolutely vile miscarriage of justice as Trump, a pedophiliac, war criminal felon continues to walk free.
Please ❤️ and share if you stand with Hearn!
@jasonllevin I’ll be driving!!!!! No way in fucking he’ll I will ever do anything associated with that man. I am currently on a cruise in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico!!!!
Looks like Trump is planning to spend more of our tax dollars.
First he bulldozed the East Wing for an unneeded expensive ballroom, then he put his name on the Kennedy Center, ruins the WH lawn for a UFC event, makes a mess of the Reflecting Pond, demands an arch and now there is a tarp up to hide scaffolding on the North Portico.
The White House claims it for routine repairs but Trump really wants new tacky Corinthian pillars.
For his vanity, Americans have lost access to SNAP programs & affordable healthcare and pay more for food, gas & education.
He really doesn't care about us.
#DemsUnited
Maybe a visual aid can help put the extremely low voter turnout thing into perspective. 😳
If you want an Oklahoma that works for working folks…gotta kick it up several notches in November, y’all. 💪
And just like that, everybody stopped talking about Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein's private plane.
Four young girls.
Donald Trump.
Why isn't this being talked about anymore?
Epstein.
Epstein.
Epstein.
By David Abbruzzes:
This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect.
"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth."
Very well stated.
BREAKING: DAMN RIGHT! Senate candidate Graham Platner throws down the gauntlet to every Democrat and "moderate" to vote against any new Supreme Court justices while Trump is President.
We need to fight fire with fire...
"Not a single Democrat or self-proclaimed moderate should vote to confirm anybody to the Supreme Court over the next two years," Platner wrote on X. "And if you have a problem with that, blame Mitch McConnell."
Earlier today, NPR ran and then retracted a story claiming that Justice Samuel Alito is retiring from the court. It's still unclear how the mistake happened, but there remains speculation that the story was true but was prematurely published.
Only time will tell about Alito, but the story has supercharged the conversation about how Democrats should tackle the Supreme Court going forward. If Alito does resign, Trump would promptly nominate a young, psychopathic right-winger to serve on the court for the next sixty years, further entrenching conservative rule.
We can't allow that to happen. As Platner suggests, we should copy Mitch McConnell's strategy. He refused to seat Merrick Garland after President Obama nominated him, suffered no consequences, and scored a massive win for his retrograde political agenda in the process.
We can't keep fighting with one hand tied behind our backs.
We can't respect "norms" that Republicans refuse to honor.
If they want to play dirty, we can play right back.
Platner's reference to "self-proclaimed" moderates was no accident either. His Republican opponent in the Maine Senate race is Senator Susan Collins, a woman who pretends to be a moderate while voting in lockstep with Trump every time it really matters. She has faced brutal, well-deserved criticisms for voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh because he went on to overturn Roe v. Wade. If Trump gets the chance to nominate another justice, Collins will find herself between a rock and a hard place.
Please ❤️ and share if you endorse Platner's strategy!
