@DrAnakwenze@prinkasusa It's a complex issue. Men commit virtually all violent crimes comparatively. Also the 80% homicide victim rate is no doubt significantly skewed by young men in a violent lifestyle killing each other. We can wish the streets were safer for all of us, and relatively they are today.
@DrAnakwenze@prinkasusa It's not invisible or unnoticed or overlooked. The lack of awareness seems to go the other way apparently, not extending to realising that men have to go through the same every day also, being significantly more likely statistically to be attacked, robbed, or killed.
@caloriesproper2 This study is also kinda just saying that people that are sick or on their deathbed tend to walk less. Not saying there is an easier or better approach but their 'hazard ratio' pretty much ensures that there is a cause/effect issue.
@prageru The penalty may be moral but the execution of the penalty is not necessarily so. Deserving to die is not the same as a person taking it into their own hands to kill someone defenceless and not posing imminent threat. Systematic state killing doesn't appear to solve that.
@OOssium@brynstole@jakebackpack If you'd read the article you'd see they cite language barrier as being the likely cause of the issue. And the headline was wrong and misleading, later corrected in the article, as I showed.
@brynstole@jakebackpack From your article, not quite as initially reported or as the headline suggest. Mostly a language issue it seems. It is normal to pay for your drinks as you buy them in most places, including Germany.
@LilaGraceRose Sexual ethics do matter. However, between consenting adults should society try to interfere with shame or force? Surely it is ultimately between you and your god - it's a personal spiritual matter - and separation of church and state is essential for a free, functioning society.
@jeremycorbyn@GLAN_LAW@alhaq_org Of course you would think it's 'morally indefensible' for Jews to defend themselves against those that seek to wipe their entire religion and ethnicity from the planet.
@SteveStuWill Um, that's exactly in line with the traditional double standard. Interesting difference between the sexes and different education levels though.
@_ZachFoster@JoeTruzman How is it a war crime to target members of a terrorist organisation that's declared a war of annihilation on your nation and ethnicity?
@BobHason123@BasedDetails@michaelmalice A study last year identified 3678 cases of 12-18 yr old 'gender affirming' surgeries. A little over 10% of those were genital surgeries, and 3215 were breast surgeries. https://t.co/YW7vgvR4uF
@ConceptualJames Thought you were going to stop with this woke right obsession. He's pointing out a logical fallacy, accurately. Woke worked for the left because they chose that name themselves, proudly foisting their intolerant weaponised fragility onto everyone else. What's in a name...?
@esjesjesj That's nonsense and the truth is much sicker and sadder. It is the incessant lying and fear-mongering from the left that deliberately preys on mentally vulnerable people to weaponise them for political ends. That's the real evil and the real tragedy.
@SangitaMyska You think a performative spew of insults constitutes a factual utterance? Or any kind of idea that's worth listening to and engaging with seriously? You seem to have caught a severe case of extremism, I hope you can recover in time.
@LBC@mrjamesob What's so hard to understand? It's not illegal for a foreign individual to volunteer their own efforts in a US campaign. What is illegal is organising and/or funding/subsidising foreign volunteers which is what was doing.
