Earlier today, I received my younger brother and the biggest Northern artist by numbers (streams, likes, endorsement and content), vision and creativity in my view, our very own @Dj_Abba, popularly known as DJ AB. He and I go way back as proud KD boys. Ever proud of Yaran North Side. He has always been supportive of our plans to elevate our local government and enhance the reputation of our beloved Kaduna North Federal Constituency. He alongside my brother Sadiq Umar of @ValenciaCF_EN are one of greatest prides. They continuously inspire our young people and have also made themselves available for the progress of Kaduna North.
By the grace of God, DJ Ab’s team and my team will design an entertainment initiative this December for the constituency. I admit that my team and I need to do more for the creative and entertainment industry. I take the blame for that failure. I am honoured by his visit despite his busy schedule. God bless you my brother. On behalf of the people of Kaduna North that I proudly represent, I am very proud of you.

VDM is starting to think he’s untouchable. There are recent examples right in front of him if he cares to look.
He wasn’t half as powerful or influential as Zakzaky when he was arrested, and heaven didn’t fall.

There is no way I can support a Peter Obi–Kwankwaso ticket.
Peter Obi subjected Northerners to various forms of mistreatment and discrimination during his tenure as governor.

ATIKU GETS 68824 VOTES YO WIN ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES IN SOKOTO
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has won the African Democratic Congress presidential primary in Sokoto State, polling a total of 68,824 votes to defeat his closest challengers.
Atiku’s tally dwarfed that of fellow aspirants Hayatu-Deen and Rotimi Amaechi, who managed 319 and 292 votes respectively.
Declaring the results at the ADC secretariat in Sokoto, Returning Officer Prof Aminu Abubakar announced Atiku as the winner after securing the “highest lawful votes” cast during the exercise.
Prof Abubakar described the process as transparent, noting that delegates conducted themselves peacefully throughout the accreditation, voting, and collation phases. He commended party officials and security agents for maintaining order.
The primary, which drew party faithful from all 23 local government areas of Sokoto State, was monitored by ADC national observers and INEC representatives. Voting began early and concluded without major hitches.

CONCERNS OVER FAIRNESS, RULE OF LAW, AND THE IMPLICATIONS OF SELECTIVE TREATMENT IN GOVERNANCE
In my view, the current situation involving the treatment of a former governor and ex-minister Mallam Nasir Ahmed @ELrufai raises serious concerns that go beyond individual personalities and into the broader question of governance, fairness, and the rule of law.
When actions by those in authority are perceived rightly or wrongly as being politically motivated or selectively applied, it naturally weakens public confidence in institutions. More importantly, it creates the impression that accountability and due process may not be uniformly guaranteed, even for individuals who have previously held the highest levels of public service.
What is particularly troubling is the wider implication this carries for ordinary citizens. If individuals with significant public standing can be subjected to such treatment, it raises legitimate questions about the protection available to the average Nigerian under similar circumstances.
In my opinion, this is not a matter that should be dismissed with indifference. A society functions best when citizens remain engaged and willing to question actions that may undermine fairness or institutional credibility. Silence in moments like this risks normalising patterns that, over time, can affect everyone regardless of status or affiliation.
Ultimately, the issue is not about political alignment, but about ensuring that justice, due process, and institutional integrity remain consistent and beyond selective application.
