โDiscipline was not a slogan to him, it was a way of life. Integrity was not a political strategy, it was his character. Simplicity was not cultivated for public admiration, it reflected who he truly wasโ
-Sen Ibukunle Amosun
Today marks 1 year since the passing of former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him mercy, expands and illuminates his grave, and admits him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
May Allah have mercy on him and grant us all a good end.
โDiscipline wasnโt a slogan to him; it was a way of life. Integrity wasnโt a political strategy; it was his character. Simplicity wasnโt cultivated for public admiration; it reflected who he truly was. Whether in power or out of office, these values remained remarkably constantโ
I remember this day 13july 2025
๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ life is nothing
When you find yourself as a leader you have to think. Who is there before you . And we're is he now.,
And what has he done for his community,. Because one day it will also happen to you,,
Today we remember President Muhammadu Buhari, as we do everyday.
A soldier at 20, went to war at 25, Governor at 33, Minister at 36, GOC at 38, Head of State at 41, PTF Chairman at 52, entered partisan politics at 60, elected President at 72, completed his tenure at 80, and returned to his creator two years later.
His legacy will be debated for years, but his personal integrity, frugal lifestyle, discipline, punctuality and patriotism will endure. I will always remember his quiet wit, uncanny sense of humour and the sincerity with which he carried himself.
May Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his service, and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
Today marks one year since the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was a man of conviction whose perseverance shaped his remarkable political journey. Despite repeated setbacks, he never abandoned his belief in democratic leadership or his commitment to the Nigerian project. Those who worked closely with him also came to know a disciplined, principled, and patriotic leader whose intentions were always based on service to the nation.
May Allah (SWT) grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and continue to comfort his family and all who mourn him.
One year ago today, Nigeria lost former President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was a leader I deeply admired. I started following him politically since his first outing in 2003 for his discipline, simplicity, and dedication to serving our nation. Today, I remember him with gratitude and prayers.
Ya Allah, forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and continue to bless Nigeria with unity, progress, and an end to insecurity.

The Man PMB๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
PMB wasnโt just another democrat, he was a genuine democrat and an enigma in many ways
For context, PMB was approaching 80 years at the time of these walks
That was an 800 meters walk back home from Daura Eid prayer ground in 2021 and it wasnโt a one off
Earlier in 2018 he did the same
The same energy he deployed in modernizing the @HQNigerianArmy@NigerianNavy@NigAirForce@CustomsNG@nigimmigration ,the road and rail infrastructure
Under President Buhari we had a better economy where the most vulnerable had a share from revenue accruing to the State
If you want to argue you must first tell me whether your life is now better than it was as at May 29th 2023

Remembering President Buhari ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Exactly a year ago President Buhari returned to his maker, a debt we all owe no matter how long we live on this earth
May Allah in His infinite mercies continue to bless Baba Buhari with Aljanna Firdaus
I particularly miss PMB for all his great efforts to stabilize this country, an incorruptible leader, his discipline, his love for the most vulnerable and patriotism
A professional soldier who became one of the most authentic democrats in the history of Nigeria
Baba Buhari is a LEGEND ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ

Darazo Holds Special Prayer Session in Memory of Former President Muhammadu Buhari.
As Nigeria marks the first anniversary of the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, Mallam Yaโu Darazo today hosted a special prayer session at his residence in Darazo in honor of the late elder statesman.
The gathering brought together about 200 Imams and Islamic scholars from across Darazo Local Government Area, who offered special prayers for Allah (SWT) to forgive the late former President, have mercy on him, illuminate and expand his grave, pardon his shortcomings, and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
The scholars also used the occasion to remind the faithful that death is an inevitable reality for every soul, encouraging everyone to increase in righteous deeds, sincerity, and devotion to Allah (SWT), as this worldly life is temporary.
They further prayed for lasting peace, unity, security, and continued progress in Nigeria, asking Allah (SWT) to bless the nation with righteous leadership.
May Allah (SWT) forgive the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, accept the prayers offered on his behalf, and reward all those who participated in this noble gathering. Ameen.

In Honor of Muhammadu Buhari: A Leader of the Masses
Growing up, I woke up to a home where former President Muhammadu Buhari was deeply loved and cherished, and over the years, he became the only politician I ever truly respected and held close to my heart.
Today marks exactly one year since we lost him, and my heart is still heavy as I reflect on the incredible man he was, not just as a leader, but as a genuinely kind soul who belonged to the masses.
To the rest of the world, he was a major general and a president, but to people like me, he was simply Baba, a beacon of hope and a man of absolute integrity who earned the title Mai Gaskiya because he always spoke the truth.
It was his beautiful simplicity and his unwavering discipline that drew the regular people, the talakawa, so close to him. In a political world that is so often filled with flashy lifestyles and broken promises, Baba chose to live a modest life, showing us that his care for the everyday citizen was completely real. He stood up for the vulnerable and refused to be controlled by powerful political godfathers, always putting the common man first.
Now, a year after his passing, his absence leaves a massive void, but the love I and millions of others nurtured for him keeps his memory alive.
I will always cherish his legacy of honesty and humility, and I pray that Allah continues to grant him perfect peace and Aljannah Firdaus.
He was, and always will be, deeply loved by the people he dedicated his life to serve.
Forever a Buharist.โฅ๏ธ
Not a single day has passed without missing your presence, your guidance, your prayers and the values you instilled in us. While the world remembers you as a statesman and leader, we remember you as a loving father whose humility, discipline and faith shaped our lives. May Allah (SWT) continue to have mercy on your soul, Baba. Ameen.
Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, carrying the remains of his late father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who passed away today and was laid to rest the same day in accordance with Islamic rites.
Today, I remember you not only as a former President, Baba. I remember you as a father figure, a mentor and a man whose trust shaped our journey in ways words cannot fully express. I remain forever grateful for the opportunity to have served under your leadership.
