This is Kitengela. They underrated Edwin Sifuna, Babu Owino, Caleb Amisi, and Godfrey Osotsi. I am sure Junet Mohamed, Gladys Wanga and Oburu Odinga can't believe this.
The difference between the Linda Mwananchi rally in Kitengela and the rally at Tononoka grounds in Mombasa is quite clear.
The Linda Mwananchi rally is organic, driven by the people, while the Tononoka rally is funded, with claims that figures like Junet and Oburu have already received money from State House.
Linda Mwananchi is focused on empowering the people, while the rally at Tononoka is filled with opportunists, individuals looking to benefit at the expense of the ODM party and the ordinary citizen.
SISI NDIO SIFUNA!
Shaffie’s boss is incompetent and corrupt.
However, Shaffie deserves an apology and compensation from Homeboyz Radio.
Shaffie Weru was fired after speaking about a sensitive topic involving women. During a discussion about a 20-year-old woman, Eunice Wangari, who went on a date with a foreigner she had met on Facebook, Shaffie commented that women should sometimes be cautious, unavailable, and hard to get.
According to reports, the date took place at the man’s office. He made sexual advances which Eunice refused. A fight broke out, and the man pushed her from the 12th floor. She survived after landing on a lower balcony but suffered serious injuries.
Speaking as someone who has worked in law enforcement, I agree with part of Shaffie’s message about caution. Many men take advantage of women’s vulnerability, which is wrong. I have seen videos of the trending Russian man and was reminded of Rita Waeni’s story, she was brutally murdered by a man she met on Instagram.
My advice is this, before meeting anyone in a private place, make sure you know the person well. Try to verify who they are, know what they do for a living, and let friends or family know where you are going. Meet in public places first, observe behaviour, and watch for red flags. These steps do not guarantee safety, but they can reduce risk. If you notice any warning signs, please walk away.
I have seen many women end up dead or in prison after trusting the wrong people. Some women in prison were unknowingly involved with criminals. For example, robbers may transfer stolen money to girlfriends, implicating them. In other cases, women are arrested during drug raids simply because they were present. Recently, there was a case of a 20-year-old woman from Malindi facing a possible long prison sentence after being found in a house where her husband was allegedly in possession of heroin.
People should be careful about who they trust, because the consequences can be life-changing.
My fellow Kenyans, now that the Edwin Sifuna Kitengela rally has ended, I want you to observe something important.
Watch tonight’s news on Citizen TV, NTV, and other stations when they cover the Kitengela rally.
Notice what they focus on most:
- The teargas and police incident
- Or how successful the rally was
Also, look at tomorrow’s newspapers.
What will be on the front page, the teargas, the police incident, the scale of the rally, or something completely different?
Pay close attention.
I will explain something later.
Seasons are temporary but they leave a lasting impact in someone's life. God mostly uses them to transition a person from one level of growth to another.
