This may, or may not, have been a Critital Mass event, but SF critical mass Organization has been doing this for more than 30 years initially to protest cars in “” their streets “” and the influx of tech money in the 1990s. Rides consiste of thousands of riders who disrupt traffic for hours during Friday end of day commute, they are aggressive ,abusive, and offensive; they’ve attacked many people, including women and children who are stuck in cars and they generally are a hazard, a danger, and a nuisance. it’s about time there were some massive arrests for such . Not sure if this is technically a critical mass event, but it’s time the city finally cracked down to support common sense application of simple laws.
This is kind of an awesome story.
- person posts that there were accessibility issues with a new gov website
- immediately (sub 20 minutes) flagged, reproduction attempted
- accessibility tool determined to be kinda sucky, flagging every single word with a scroll animation as a separate violation, tanking the site score unnecessarily
- complaint is addressed anyway!
- redeployed just under one hour after report with fixes to address tooling reports
- the team spent some time log monitoring and watching observability tooling, then replies to the initial post confirming the reports were addressed
- not just a single team member! Multiple have been reaching out to members of the public to chase down leads and make sure the services offered work for everyone!
It's really cool to be a part of this new generation of developers within the government. Across Social Security, the IRS, NDStudio and more, developers are now, more than ever, enabled to make change and actually SHIP!
The fact that so many talking heads and personalities have suddenly flipped to promote free speech confirms that they are quite aware of the narratives that they’ve always been espousing. They certainly understand that what they were exposing has been propaganda in order to stay part of the “in crowd” politically, and now have shifted as the political narrative shifts.

I can answer this.
It’s because his story was something deeper in human culture.
Charlie Kirk has now lived out the full arc of the Hero.
Not just a leader, but the archetypal hero of myth.
A young man of courage, who achieved more in his short years than most could in a lifetime. A husband, a father, a good man with boundless potential.
History is filled with such figures—Alexander the Great, who ruled half the known world before thirty; Achilles, who blazed like fire across the battlefield of Troy.
And like them, Charlie was taken just as the world knew his story was about to grow even greater.
That is why it cuts so deep, because everyone saw the greatness to come, and now it has been cut short by an unspeakable act of evil.
Yet there is a pattern in all of these stories:
The death of the hero never ends the story.
It ignites something new.
It becomes the spark for a greater movement, a greater awakening.
Take heart.
Charlie will not be forgotten.
Like the heroes of old, his name will live on for eternity.
I don’t care about the patsy who pulled the trigger, I care about the manipulators, handlers, and political structure that created and executed the situation
A bandage has been ripped off the American cultural psyche that cannot be healed with the BS platitudes and rhetoric we received from our political class and media for the last 15 years. Change feels like it’s coming and and the younger generation that has been destroyed by the institutions and and current power structures must rise up and demand change
