Great crowd this morning at The Nusz! Tim and Janice Muzzi of Starkville and several thousand of the Bulldog friends are packing the stadium to support the Bulldogs.
@PDawg206 They don't have any chance of working their way into similar status due to how recruiting works. It's simply terrible for the sport to have so few meaningful games late in the season &, with opt out becoming more of a reality, you've got to give these kids something play for
@PDawg206 I think long term, it will have some recruiting impact while helping the Pac-12 keep W coast QBs home. The sport needs more meaningful games #1, and the only way we get that is with expansion. A sport isn’t competitive when 90% of teams are eliminated before game 1
@PDawg206 CFB needs to stop worrying about who wins the CFB playoff and more about giving the sport more meaningful games, more schools that can sell recruits on having something to play for, and more cross region matchups that bring intrigue. That's the only way to close gap
@PDawg206 I don't see the reasoning for it not being in the PAC12's best interest. Too me the opp for PAC 12 regional rivalries to become nationally important games along with PAC12 getting to host SEC teams in the 1st round, far outweighs the loss of the occasional PAC 12 semi finalist
@PDawg206 Yes. More SEC teams will be in the top 12, but, even so, it's still in other conferences best interest for expansion. Over time, West Coast kids will stay home more due to knowing they have a chance.
@PDawg206 From the state of the institution. They often times become law enforcement celebs and are on commercials promoting law enforcement things in those states.
@PDawg206 Malzahn would raise Washington's talent profile. He's BY FAR the most proven recruiter on this list. I think some others are better coaches, but Malzahn is solid on the field. Has won many cut throat recruiting battles over the years
@PDawg206 @heygoducks The LSU job is great because 1. Louisiana is the highest producing state per capita at 1 NFL player per at 68.4 K residents & 2. They're the only P5 school in the state. There are literally 10+ future NFL players in HS each year there. Easy to care when blessed with that
