I'm proud to stand in solidarity with the 30,000 Kaiser nurses & health care workers striking in California & Hawaii against corporate greed. If Kaiser can pay its CEO $12.7 million & make $4 billion in profit, it can afford to treat all of its workers with respect, not contempt.
@LennyShovits@rucinn@LukeBornheimer@BetterValencia@valencia4people Pedestrian signal is at 6 at the start of the video. Those of us that ride this know the pedestrian signal starts as walk symbol (same time bike signal turns green) then counts down from 8. So vehicle signal has been red 5+ seconds, & the bike signal has been green that long.
@KCGrock@bryanculbertson@SafeStreetRebel I hear you, but even without licenses or insurance, people who don't have an alternative will continue to drive and put people in danger. Improving physical traffic calming and public transit should be the priority.

Your response says the project update page is "an accurate and complete source of project information." but clearly that isn't the case.

Streetsblog is right - we shouldn't need special requests to get it.

This. @SFMTA_Muni & co pushed the center bikeway through as if those of us biking Valencia only do so on our way somewhere else, ignoring the fact that we're also consumers who were helping support Valencia businesses before they made it almost impossible to safely leave the lane
Here's the real problem with Valencia. SFMTA forced people who bike into a center bike lane that you can't get out of those people have either changed their routes or don't stop on Valencia anymore.
I believe that there is a street safety crisis in America.
Losing hundreds of lives to unsafe streets is unacceptable. My bill, the Building Safer Streets Act, will help fix this chronic issue here in PA & across the country.
@joegarofoli@KQEDnews@sfchronicle A horrible decision by @SFChronicle & @Hearst management. @JoeGarofoli's "It's All Political" podcast was well-established bright light, allowing readers to hear directly from newsmakers. It lent credibility & heft to the Chronicle brand, rapidly decaying w these dumb moves.
This is incredibly disappointing. @FifthandMission, It's All Political, and the other podcasts were the only redeeming things about @sfchronicle. Goodbye subscription...
Serious question @SFMTA_Muni: is the 67 even running? I just walked the route up over Bernal Hill before grabbing a Lyft, and we just drove the rest of the route, and not one 67 bus. No alerts here or on the website. NextBus says it's coming then the bus disappears. Updates?
I left early, got to the stop early, but apparently the 67 which only comes every 20 minutes was even earlier. Now the only option to get to my destination on time is rideshare or drive (no secure bike parking). @SFMTA_Muni we need more frequent service and RELIABLE schedules!
@KNF100 @JoannaGubman @jasonford1 It took a little while when we went because the parking garage attendant had to unlock the bike cage for us, but totally worth it. I had to dig on the site to find it. FAQ --> Where is SF located (enter off Stevenson for bike parking): https://t.co/R2Dn6Spmwe
