Total discharges for sepsis DRGs by year using CMS' publicly available data for 2011-2016. Any thoughts on how a 133 bed hospital occupies 2,3 & 5 spots? 2017 data is much the same. How can a 133 bed hospital have more sepsis cases than one 10x as large?
