Well, a new chapter begins for my son. Now that he’s a high school graduate, he has joined the working world. His internship at a local hospital starts today. I am nervous today and very proud of him!

@TheHistoryOfTh2 A side effect is having to explain to people that your son who has a disability does need ADHD meds or accommodations at school. So many people want to “well, actually …” or “but have you tried …” us
@chrishy I think they are still limiting how often he pitches. Until he is given the green light to pitch the standard workload, he may shuttle back and forth this season.

@yaelbt 20 years ago, I taught our church’s high school Sunday school class. We talked about something like this. Many kids said stealing was “bad,” but stealing from a chain store wasn’t that big a deal. Big businesses are bad, they said. Stealing from a small biz was a definite no. Ugh
