Tempo is the pace or speed (distance/time) at which something moves. Rhythm is the ratio of the time. Both have a time component, but “tempo” is often mis-used.
Good putters often have a similar RHYTHM on 5- and 25-footers, but their TEMPO is very different by necessity. #golf
Jason Day’s swing change took a YEAR.
Golfers often expect to understand a swing change and hit the next ball better. Or they’ll get frustrated when it doesn’t “work” in two weeks.
Improvement is often a long-term process. Get 1% better every day.
@MaddenMonopoly Right, because the priority is to honor Richard Bland and Scott Vincent’s contracts instead of bringing in multiple top 20 players #Delusional
@tylerpga@jasongiesbrecht@iacas@A_M_Golf Gotcha, def not arguing. I’ve been on Gasp and Swing Cat dual plates several times (with Dr Lynn) the past year. My tendency is to get heel biased, was told that’s a common fault. Just curious to see what toe biased looked like. Here’s my setup, think it’s good balance for me
@jasongiesbrecht@tylerpga@iacas@A_M_Golf Jason and Tyler, can you share some examples? Would be curious to see. I see more of what Erik is describing with my own setup and my buddies.
@Jlongball13@CAdams7 The “flip” gives him the best chance to hit the ball. Helps him avoid hitting way behind the ball. If he works the pivot better to give his arms room, you’ll see better arm width post impact.
