- Lombardi threatened team boycotts of local businesses that wouldn't serve African-Americans.
- Lombardi cancelled a long-running preseason series with Washington due to Jim Crow laws in cities where those games were played.

It is a big Senior Night win as your Boilers close out their season at home with a 5-0 victory against Carl Sandburg. Your Boilers move to 23-8 as they look to close out the regular season at STAGG on Friday.

It was a 4 RBI and 2 Homerun evening for #16, Leila Middlebrook as your Boilers take out the LWC Knights, 11-0. Bristol Schriefer also drove in 4 runs, while Woolman and Moutrey were 3-3. Sykes and Hammond added 2 hits a piece as Hofbauer threw a one hit gem in the circle!

Your Boilers tally 14 runs on 18 hits in their 9th consecutive SWSC win! Alayna Sykes and Lydia Hammond had themselves a day going 3-4 and 4-5 respectably, while Stanek, Moutrey, and Sykes all left the yard! Hofbauer & Middlebrook both had multi-hit days at the plate as well.

It was another SWSC W for the Boilers, their 8th in a row, as they take out HF this week at home, 8-0. We had 12 hits from 9 different Boilers. Lee was 2-3 with 2 runs, while Middlebrook was 2-4 with two doubles, and Sykes was 2-3. Abbie Hofbauer got the win in the circle!

Our 13th win of the year came in just 5 innings, as your Boilers defeated Andrew 10-0. Every Boiler had a hit tonight, with Bristol Schriefer and Evi McIntyre getting 2 hits a piece. Middlebrook hit a 2 run bomb, and in her first AB back from surgery, Liv Woolman walked us off.

Eight Boilers collected hits tonight as the Boilers outscored the Vikings 8-0, & out hit them 12-2. Schriefer, Munsterman, Sykes, & Hofbauer all had multi-hit nights, with Sykes, Schriefer, & Middlebrook all having multiple RBIs. Hammond & Hofbauer both threw well in the circle.
