@BarackObama It’s wonderful to see that you actually took the time to read and respond to letters. Even the few times that I disagreed with your policies, I always trusted your decision-making process.
@Iamivy05 What a great achievement! I am the first person in my family to go to college. You have done a wonderful thing for your son and your family. God bless you. All honest work is honorable.
@GregHouseDM @PoortoRico@DavidBegnaud@SpiritAirlines Actually, Puerto Rico has been in limbo since 1948, when it became a “Commonwealth.” Prior to that, it was a colony of the United States since 1898, and before that, it was a colony of Spain. Colonial status is quite defined as property.
@TheCineMike@ZoeRoseBryant Thank you for providing perspective. One of the key differences is that the article in question was posted by the nominee rather than journalists who review films. To me, that’s an important difference. Nominees should not engage in this type of “politicking” for the win.
@ZoeRoseBryant@jasonosia Reading comprehension skills are not the issue. There are rules that prevent nominees from posting articles meant to unduly persuade the Academy voters. I am disappointed in Michelle Yeoh that she would do this. It will now taint her victory, if she wins. Sad.
@JToussaint28 People in this country must be really bored that they’d make an issue out of this. He’s not even looking. He’s stressed about the game. She’s jumping up and down with her girlfriend. Please, people. This is a family. STOP.
@RonFilipkowski This is real? OMG. There is no bottom for this man. That he represented our country as “President” only speaks of how low we have fallen. Even if it’s not true, the fact that so many believe it speaks to how low he has set the bar for leadership - to which he is the antithesis.
@MikeSington A disgrace to democracy and our country. Prison isn’t sufficient punishment for this scoundrel. They call themselves patriots and “nationalists.” Sickening.
