@YALiberty We need less government, not more. Vouchers and "school choice" open the door for government intervention in private schools and homeschools. Anyone in public school will tell you how detrimental government intervention is for education.

@YALiberty I say all of this as a dedicated libertarian and a certified teacher. I've been teaching for almost a decade, and I can say I see all the things wrong with the education system. I'm not rebuking your critiques. I'm rebuking your choice of solution.

@YALiberty It won't be long until the state government is dictating to private schools and homeschools what they do to public schools. What we need is less government, not more. End the department of education. End the TEA. End state education agencies

@YALiberty Those options cost money, but so does public school. But I have many issues with the idea of vouchers. One of the bills that was being touted as "the best" includes that the voucher money from the state is audited by the state AND must be used on state approved curriculum.

@RandallfTheBlue @PhillyD There's a huge difference between acknowledging privilege and bashing someone for doing what's best for themselves. Bashing the people who have the means just makes the people who don't even less willing to take time for themselves.

@GeorgePointon_ This is a favorite of mine, probably the funniest moment was when I had a group of first graders, I accidentally passed some gas and they fell apart blaming everyone. They asked me initially, and I denied it, so they immediately turned on each other. It was glorious.

@Mr_AIice @PhillyD Unfortunately, if you think the PDS only dunks on Republicans, it's obvious that you don't actually watch the PDS.

Full disclosure, I'm a conservative leaning libertarian who enjoys watching the PDS on a regular basis.

@MattWalshBlog The only joke here is you. For someone who complains loud and hard about cancel culture and boycotts, you seem to participate in them yourself. It's only cancel culture if someone else does it, I guess. Ridiculous. Taking aim at someone who has a heart for our youth is dumb.
