In the afternoon, at 2:48 pm, Shawn's mother received a call from the school informing her that her son was unwell and speaking incoherently. Last year you could spend Ksh. 5,000 at the pump and get 50 litres. Today the same 5k gets you 37 litres. That’s a difference of 13 litres! To put it in to perspective, a Honda Fit can get up to 20km/l. On paper, a Fit owner is losing 260 kms while spending the same amount, damn.
