There was a time we waited for the elected man to drive from Entebbe to Kampala. We sat atop a TownAce, looking at the crowds by the roadside around Conrad Plaza, just below. The energy was good; people were genuinely happy. I had this uncomfortable feeling, as I also tried to participate in the happiness.
