There is a profound stillness at the State House today as it receives its former resident, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
Known fondly as Delai Naiqasiqasi, these walls were home to the Turaga nai Taukei Naisogolaca for many years.

As he Lies in State overlooking the waters of Suva Harbour, some wonderful memories of his presence linger, none more cherished than the sound of his voice crooning ‘Sisili mai Wainadoi’ to the delight of his guests.

Ratu Epeli returns now to the place where he so often shared his joy, completing a journey marked by dignity, camaraderie and song.
